Aaron
This was not okay. None of this was okay. I was on a flight to a city i had never been to with a girl I was falling for and I am expected to just be a runaway spy all of a sudden??
No. This was just. No
Abigail fell asleep, and i wasnt sure how. We were expected to fight for our lives and bossed around by i man i thought was dead for christ's sake!
I couldnt handle thinking about it any longer, and thankfully we were arriving in Portland. We were supposed to go to a little shack not far up the road from the airport. It was an isolated little cabin where we were supposed to go to learn how to defend ourselves and where to go next.
All i knew was i had to protect Abigail.

We flew through the airport and stayed under the radar. Currently we were in an uncomforable cab with rough leather seats and a driver who looked like he could be Larry the Cable Guy's brother. We showed him the address, and the drive up was beautiful. The trees swayed in the gentle breeze. The bark seemed to be whispering secrets of the ocean the the waves hushed with their loud crash upon the rocky shore. The ocean looked more like melted black diamond liquid, shimmering in the moonlight. I could see the purple rising over the horizon ever so slightly.
In the midst of my daydream, the car shuddered to a thud. We got our luggage and were faced with a dark and incredibly creepy building that looked like it belonged to a weird Japanese samurai ninja. We tipped the driver and told him if anyone asked, he had never seen us. He agreed happily when handed a six pack.
Anyway we get to the front door of this place, and the door creeps open so creepily just like it does in movies. Abigail and I sat our luggage down and looked at the place which was actually pretty well polished given the exterior circumstances.
It was so quiet, i wondered if we were at the right place. But I knew we were the second a man came up behind Abby and had her in a headlock. She instantly flipped him over her shoulder where he landed on his back with a thud. He let out a small groan, "You wont need quite as much training," He coughed and got up shakily. Abby blushed, hard. Still in fight mode, "Sorry," she said sincerely, "My mom made me learn it,"
"Does she also make you carry pepper spray and condoms like a good little girl?" He purred sarcasticly, "Because that wont fend off a bunch of Russian spies who want him dead." He pointed a crooked finger at me. I gulped so hard i might have set my esophogus on fire.
That shut her up. Fast.
"I'm Sam, and that was a kick ass greeting, I'll be your ass-kicking expert from now on."

The conditioning was rough. And it had only been 8 hours.
When we had arrived, Sam didnt let us go to bed. Needless to say i was pissed. He'd made me do pointless excersizes that were not physically possible for me to sustain. I wasnt even sure how Abby was keeping up. His smart ass comments were getting on my nerves as well.
"Come on princess, you gotta do about 25 more pull ups before i let you have your break," He smiled arragantly.
"Why-" Abigail started inbetween heavy breaths," What the hell is going on? Why are we doing this?" She sounded more like she was pleaing for release rather than asking a serious question.
Sam sighed, "Get up." She followed his directions, "Follow me. I also double as a therapist,"
Abby was all sweaty in her sportsbra and leggings, and her hair was in a french braid. She wasnt even sweating, her skin was literally gleaming. How does someone make sweating look good?
Im a wreck.
Sam led us into a back room which seemed incredibly small compared to the training dojo we had just been in. When i focused a little more however, I noticed it looked more like a serial killers office.
"This," Sam said, "Is how we found you. This is how we are going to protect you. This is how we will evaluate you. This is how we will help you."
I gulped. We?
