"This is an emergen- ew, ew! What the fuck, Angela? I did not see that. I did not see that. Ew."

"Thanks, Ashton. Ever heard of knocking?" Angela sighed, obviously fed up with him.

I didn't know what to do or say.

"But this is an emergency; I need to keep you safe. Meet me there." Ashton said, stressing on 'there', then left the room immediately.

"Umm, come on, Michael. Let's go."

I obliged, saying, "May I ask something?"

"Yeah, 'course," Angela answered.

"Why would he want to keep you safe when you hate each other?"

She chuckled and responded, "well, when we work in the shadows, he's a friendly enemy." Oh. Okay then. We reachthe end of a corridor, and she pulls me into a dark corner.

"What's going on, Ash?"

"It's so fucked up," he sighed.

"He's caught several rebels and they're probably in HR. That's Heveanly Rebels, by the way, Michael. Don't ask us why they're called like that. Anyways," he completed, "they might catch us, 'cause the others are being tortured. We have to leave, in, like, a day."

"Wouldn't he, like, forgive you or something? I mean she's his daughter and you're Dionne's son which is kinda something to him. Right?" My voice trailed at the end, unsure of what I was saying, although it seemed valid to me.

"They don't care about us," Angela scoffed as she put her head on Ashton's shoulder and he wrapped his arm around her waist. Friendly enemy.

"What's the plan then?" Angela asked.

"Well, we're planning on going back. It's the only way out."

"Back as in..." She raised her eyebrows questioningly.

"Earth?" I completed.

"Yeah. Look, it's the only way out. Calum is gonna take us there. We don't have to be demons, Angela. We can just stay there, but not haunt people. It can work out. And you can get Michael with you. But we have to be fast."

She stood up and I followed suit, then she looked at me and Ashton and said, "We'll meet you at 1 AM."
