Chapter Fifteen

No Ones Point Of View

" Wait? How does this look? Do I look fat?" Jasmine said as she turned around in the black dress. Shad shook his head no while smoking a blunt and she sighed. It was the grand opening of his new restaurant and Jasmine was looking in her closet for something to wear.

" I told you I was gone buy you something instead of you ripping your closet apart " Shad said as he stared at her. Jasmine scoffed and pulled out all her unworn dresses she purchased. Of course, she was a slight shopaholic at times when she was bored. That's why the kids owned a lot of shoes, toys, clothes and things they did not need.

" Do you see all these unworn dresses? Ugh, it's a mall in my closet anyway" Jasmine said as she plopped down on the chair and Shad laughed big as hell. The fact chicks always do the most when it comes to dressing made him laugh. She turned her head and rolled her eyes.

" It ain't funny! " Jasmine yelled as she smacked him on his head. Shad smacked his lips because she always stayed hitting on him. He put out his blunt as Jasmine put both of her hands on the side of her face. She was stressed out and Shad knew just what to do.

" Come on mama, you got all these dresses and you feel insecure about the way it fit. You look good with any dress on to me " He said making her smile. Jasmine turned around and he kissed her forehead.

" Really? " She asked and Shad nodded.

" Okay okay, I think I know what I want to wear. " Jasmine said as she pulled out this white dress. She took off the black dress by pulling it down and pulled the white dress up. She smoothed it down and turned around to show Shad. The sides of the dress was strapped up and made into a X. Her breast were big so it almost spilled out the dress and her butt looked very big in the dress.

" Oh no, take it off. Hell no " Shad told her but she waved him off. Jasmine thought she looked real cute in this dress and was glad she had it in her closet.

" Why? I think I look like a doll " She said with a smile. Shad rolled his eyes as he reached over and grabbed her jacket. He threw it at her making her frown. A smirk fell across his face as she stared at him with a glare.

" Put it on. You ain walking up in there looking like a stripper " Shad said. Jasmine threw her shoe at him.

" Shut up! I do not. You know what, let's go " Jasmine said as she walked out the room with the jacket around her arm. She had a grabbed a golden clutch and made her way down the stairs.

" Thank you for coming to the grand opening of my second restaurant. I really appreciate it " Shad told the mayor of New York City. Cameras were being flashed everywhere as Jasmine was eating macaroni and cheese. She was talking to the Chef about recipes and things that could spice it up.

" You know what? This is one fine establishment " Bill said as he ate the sample from the restaurant. It was true. He was quite impressed with the restaurant really and he was black, the icing on the cake.

" I'm glad you think so " Shad said and Jasmine walked up to Shad to talk about the food. Jasmine eyes widened as Shad pulled her in front of the cameras while she had a mouth full of food. He wrapped her arms around her as cameras flashed and she did her best to smile.

" Mrs.Leveen, I'm the mayor of New York. I've heard about your work as a lawyer and I'm proud to meet you. You've handle the best cases. " Bill said and Jasmine smiled.

" Well thank you. I never thought you were a fan of my work " Jasmine said as they shook hands. Bill was an old white man with grey hair and Jasmine didn't even pay attention to the mayor at all.
