Your P.o.v.
Surrounded by four grey walls, there was nothing else to do but stare at them. To look at the light that cast stripes of a brilliant noon sunlight onto the gravel-grey paint. I cradled my frame in my two hands and let my body defrost my fingers as I gently rocked on the wooden board beneath me. Warmth was a luxury I did not often indulge in, but life can't be all that cold. My (f/c) and (e/c) eyes open and closed slowly, my (h/l) (h/c) hair tickling my nose as I leaned my head against the wall of my cell. This was nice. It was almost as if the sun was shining just to lure me to sleep. The quiet would lure me into unconsciousness, and then back out. The world was a blur, something out of a soothing evening I would see only in my dreams and the images that floated uselessly in my thoughts. But the sudden sound of a chair creaking and the click of someone's tongue reminded me of the real reason I was staying awake. "Damn chair" a voice hissed quietly, their comment being followed by a grunt that caused my (f/c) and (e/c) eyes to instinctively look towards the sound and they stayed settled on what they saw. A slim, lanky, young man with messy black hair and blue eyes, framed by rectangular black glasses stood on the other side of the metal bars that kept me in my soothing prison. His fingers ran through his black locks as his blue eyes glared at the old wooden chair before him. His name was...Fushimi...at least that's what Seri called him, but I couldn't be sure. The chairs legs were uneven, the whole structure seeming to move in a wobbly circle every time it was touched or sat on. This had been going on for the past 15 minutes. The man let out an exasperated sigh, sat on the wobbly chair, and hunched forward as he reopened the computer that was in his hands it's blue screen glowing with information I had no desire to read and I had no desire to keep focus. At least from this distance. With one deep breath I arched my back and forced my body away from the cool wall of my cell, unwinding my hands as I stretched them above my head letting out little grunts as I shut my (f/c) and (e/c) eyes and let my (h/l) (h/c) hair flow behind me. My cat-like eyes opened once more and with a swift movement I removed my (f/c) jacket from my lap for I had placed it there earlier as a blanket of sorts and gently moved it from my lap to the wooden bench like bed beneath me. Then, after putting both of my hands forward I let myself fall from the bench to the floor, my (h/c) tail swishing back and forth as soon as my pink paws hit the ground. A purr emitted deep from my throat as I stretched in my cat form, my nails digging into the cement ground and clasping onto nothing. Then, with my body warm and my heart throbbing from sudden movement I held my fluffy (h/c) tail high and pranced over to the metal bars that kept me separated from the man with beautiful blue eyes. The cement floor was cold and was only warmed by the small amount of sunlight that reached into my cell causing my sensitive paws to send shivers throughout my body, making me shake. But after a few strides I was already in front of the metal bars and without thinking twice I sat down, swishing my tail here and there as I closed my (f/c) and (e/c) eyes and let out a loud meow. Nothing. The boy didn't even glance in my direction if anything the sound of his fingers typing away on the keyboard became more rapid than before. I wrinkled my nose and forced my (h/c) ears down as my (f/c) eye twitched along with my tail in annoyance. "Meow~!" I let out my needy cry once more, my tail swishing impatiently but as soon as the cry left my mouth I was suddenly attacked by a blue icy stare. I froze. My mouth went dry. My mind went blank. His gaze fell like an act of violence, a glare meant to stop my heart. There was no softness in that gaze. It was a look that conveyed a bubbling hatred. Disgust perhaps. Yet he was a stranger. I visibly shrinked back, my (h/c) tail and ears recoiling in uneasiness only for a small grunt to escape my lips as I slammed my hands down on the concrete floor to balance myself from falling over, tiny traces of (f/c) smoke filling the air. I had changed out of nervousness. "Aww...that hurt" I whined quietly, massaging my tailbone slightly as I leaned my head back, placing it against the cool wall of my cell once more. And as I did my (f/c) and (e/c) eyes settled on the black-haired clansmen who stared at me with his heart stopping glare. He stared, I stared back. It was a game and no one was winning. His blue eyes seemed to return to normal monetarily and with a sigh and a click of his tongue he was staring at his computer as he hunched over. And as he sat there leaving me to glare at nothing I could feel my eyes unconsciously staring at is frame. He wore a Scepter 4 uniform, consisting of a white shirt, a gray waistcoat and a long blue coat that was left open. And as I studied him further I noticed his sleeves were rolled up below the elbow, showing purplish red wrist bands. His pants were blue to match his coat but quickly disappeared at his knees where the beginning of his black knee high boots began. His outfit suited him...every line, every muscle..."Stare or don't, you won't get anything" I'm pulled out of my dream-like trance as those words filled the silent air. At first I raised my eyebrow, turning my head this way and that as if to find out where the voice came from but as the voice sank into my brain I realized it came from none other than the hunched over boy. "What's that supposed to mean?" I ask, narrowing my (f/c) and (e/c) eyes as my (h/l) (h/c) hair tickled my cheek. He rolled his eyes, they're blue gaze never once leaving the computer. He sighed, "I know that you may get coddled like a baby down at that shithole but don't expect your need for attention to be satisfied here" he said coolly as if he was obliged to speak this way everyday. My eyes widened suddenly as my lips slowly started to form into a frown. "Don't call it a shithole" I growl, crossing my arms as I leaned foreward to emphasize my point "you don't know anything about me or the way I act" I seethe. The boys lips turned upwards. He was becoming amused, I could tell. "It's only appropriate" he shrugged, "You may think HOMRA is something special but the truth is that they are nothing more than hoodlums. Scum that walk the streets and cause trouble. You may seem important their with your perks and whatnot but that means nothing. Here you are nothing more than a brain-dead barbarian" he pushed up his glasses as he turned to face my awestruck feature, a smirk appearing on his lips as he took in my face. "But you would know what it feels like to be that already, so I doubt I have to remind a weak little thing like you" his smirk turned more menacing as I bared my teeth "things are left behind in alleys for reasons after all." That was it. That was the breaking point of my patience. At that moment, I was blinded by a five-course serving of rage that tasted bitter. I wanted to cry as rage filled my belly. I felt my ears get hot and my eyes start to burn. "HOW DARE YOU!?" I spat out, my words filled with hatred, my (f/c) and (e/c) eyes filled with rage. The boy chuckled to himself only adding fuel to my wrath causing me to bolt up from my spot on the floor, rushing to the metal bars that kept us separated only for the boy to stand up from his seat, facing me from the other side, that shit eating smirk still on his face. "You think this is funny!?" I snap "I haven't done anything to you! You have no right to treat me this way!" I shout, my yells cutting through the silence that was my cell. The boy placed his hands in his pockets, his blue eyes staring at me dully as his black hair swept across his forehead. But then, he started to smile. "You are an extremely stupid girl aren't you?" he asked. He took a step closer. "You think that you deserve to be treated by people as if they care" I feel my glare falter as he took another step closer, my eyes burning on and off. They were losing their edge. "But I'm going to tell you something; they don't" he smirked wickedly "no one cares about the girl who was abandoned in an alley and taken in by gang members" his hands gripped the bars of my cell as he stared at me with a devilish look. "You. Mean. Nothing. Here" My eyes widened slightly as his words sunk into my brain. I knew there was no logic to this argument. It was dumb, yet...why did my heart feel so sick? But just as I gritted my teeth and was about to let another hateful comment leave my lips the sound of something clicking against the stone floor but never once did our glares leave each other. At least until a recognizable voice caused my (f/c) and (e/c) eyes to widen. "What's the status of our guest?" "She's with Fushimi sir" "Then I'm sure they caused no trouble" My hands immediately find their ways to the bars keeping me in my cell as I reached up on my tippy toes, trying my best to make out the two figures that walked down the hallway towards my holding space. I used one of my hands to move away my (h/l) (h/c) locks and when I did I could feel a smile start to pull at my lips seeing who it was. Suddenly, past the bars standing next to Fushimi I could see Seri standing with a tall very familiar man. "This is our guest Captain, I await your orders" The man nodded towards her and turned towards my cell and as soon as his violet eyes were met with mine I could see that they widened slightly. "Miss (L/n)?" "Hello Munakata~!" I smirk widely as my (f/c) and (e/c) eyes sparkled, my eyes showing kindness towards the familiar king while glaring daggers at the surprised blue clansmen who started between us with heated confusion. "You two...know each other?" Seri asked, her voice seeming less serious than I have ever heard it before as her narrowed blue eyes darted between us rapidly. Reisi seemed to smile but only faintly as he took a step closer to my cell and looked inside as if he was retracing my stay, and that's when he began to speak. "Miss (L/n) and I met at a bookstore, I offered her a refreshment and we had a nice civil conversation" He stood up straight, his dark blue hair sweeping over his violet eyes only for him to brush it away as he pushed up his glasses. "What s our guest in for Miss Awashima?" Reisi asked, his violet eyes glancing over every bit of my frame as I smiled at him which didn't seem to affect his behavior in the slightest, not that I wanted it to. "Miss (L/n) was found by her fellow clan members leading us to her last sighting. They said that the green clan was involved but not much more...I guess was found surrounded by three green clansmen in a state of imprisonment in a form. She was taken in for background research while we had her..." Reisi nodded at this information before speaking to me. "It sounds like you've had a eventful day Miss (L/n)" Reisi said, his lips forming into a faint smile as he suddenly placed his hands behind his back and turned to Seri, his serious gaze never wavering. "Miss Awashima, could you prepare two cups of tea and send it to my office, Miss (L/n) will be with me for the rest of her stay." Everyone's eyes widened. Seri blinked astonished and I couldn't believe my ears. The Blue King, wanted me to stay with him. "B-But sir I really th-" "there will be no discussion, Fushimi unlock the cell" the black-haired boy's blue eyes narrowed with hate but with one sigh and small growl he moved to the side of my cell and like magic the walls crumbled down to nothing. "Thank you~!" I chirp happily as I step out into the hall and out of my cell, stretching my arms above my head as I gave the black-haired boy a devious smirk that practically read itself; I am more important than you.
Fushimi's P.o.v.
My fingers curled into a fist as she gave me that smirk. That stupid smirk that read the words that caused my blood to boil. Her (h/l) (h/c) hair was flicked behind her as she smiled widely towards Munakata, her (skin tone) hands holding each other behind her back as she rocked on the (f/c) heel of her shoes. I click my tongue in aggravation as I take in a deep breath and shake my head causing my black hair to sweep in front of my glasses as I picked up my computer, sneering slightly at the screen seeing that yet another file had been filled in incorrectly by idiots. This day was turning out to be even more shitty than the rest of them. Suddenly, I'm ripped out on my thoughts by the sound of heels and I turn my head only to watch as Seri quickly walked out of the hallway most likely following the orders of the man who stood just across from me. And as I stared at him and the idiot he was with I could feel my nerves going off edge. He nodded his head at her every word as she smiled and leaned towards him, her words being of thanks and gratitude. But as I stared at the both of them my fingers slowly started to stop typing as my eyes slowly started trailing down the strains body and when they reached her hips they widened at what they saw. As the girl raised her arms, her (f/c) jacket rising and her jeans sliding down to her lower hips my eyes caught sight of an insignia. But it was scratched and burned. Just like mine.
