Recap:
"No problem" was all he said before disappearing into the kitchen. Riley spun Nathan around. His head whipped between him and the kitchen multiple times before he finally looked Nathan in the eyes.
"We to talk. Now."

POV: 3rd person
Nathan sat on the edge of Mason's bed. Riley sat across from him in a rolling chair. His head was resting on his hands and he was staring intensely at Nathan.
"So....why did you need to talk to me?"
"Yes, well you see......this is going to sound strange, but what's your sexuality?"
Nathan's eyes widened in suprise, and his face gained a red tint.
"Um....I uh....to be honest, I've never really thought about it" he said sheepishly
"Oh really? Well, um...."
"I know that I'm okay with dating someone of the same gender. Or opposite gender. It just kinda.....depends on the person's personality. If that even makes sense..." He said, his face now fully red, while biting his bottom lip.
Riley's face brightened instantly, and a huge grin spread across his freckled cheeks.
"Perfect"
"Huh?"
"Mason's gay"
"W-what?"
On cue, Mason walks through the door. He appeared startled to find the two boys in his room, but he quickly regained his composure. Riley stood, and skipped over to the man. He stood on his tiptoes, and began to whisper something into Mason's ear. It was honestly a funny sight. Riley was basically hanging off of Mason's shoulders, while the taller male was hunched over. Riley turned his head over his shoulder and sent a wink in Nathan's direction, before exiting the room. Leaving behind a blushing, confused Nathan. Mason's eyes were filled with curiosity and amusement. His head was slightly titled, making him look like an adorable puppy. He began to walk towards Nathan, stopping a couple feet away.
'Oh no. What's he going to do?'
Fear filled Nathan's body as his large hand reached out and grabbed.....the rolling chair? He walked to the desk against the wall, pulling the chair behind him. He sat down and turned on the awaiting laptop. The whole room went into an awkward silence. Well, at least for Nathan. Mason seemed rather comfortable, strangely enough. He was leaned back in his chair, with one arm behind his head and the other typing. His dark brown eyes were calmly focused on the screen, and his left leg was lightly shaking.
Not being able to handle the tension, Nathan stood and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.
'Why would it matter to me if Mason was gay or not?'
~~~~~
All day Nathan couldn't help but think about his conversation with Riley. He was still so confused. Nothing about it made sense to him.
Currently, he was sitting on the couch in the library. Yes. They have their own library. The whole place was basically a mansion. It made him wonder how much being in a gang really paid. Despite being surrounded by books, Nathan wasn't reading. He was only in there to get away from it all. Just a quiet place to clear his head. He really needed some time away from all of the craziness. Most of all, however, he needed time away from Mason. That man scared him to no end. It was like he was everywhere.
'I don't even know why I'm so afraid of him. I've only talked to him once'
Nathan had gotten along quite pleasantly with everyone. Even Brian! Turns out, that man had amazing baking skills. For some reason, he just couldn't get past Mason. His heart would speed up when he looked at him or thought about him. His mind would go all fuzzy, and his hands would get clammy.
'Gross'
The library doors opening brought him from his thoughts, to the person that just walked in. 'Oh great. Mason's here, once again'
Nathan slid down in his seat, trying to become as invisible as possible. Mason walked up to one of the shelves and began to skim through. Nathan examined the room, trying to find the quickest, quietist escape. As he formed the plan in his head, the couch dipped beside him. Nathan's head snapped to his right, his eyes wide. Mason was sitting beside him, his gaze resting on the pages of a book. He was holding the book in one hand, and his other arm was stretched across the back of the leather couch.
Nathan tensed, but refused to show his fear. He knew he couldn't handle another awkward silence, and he was too scared to actually speak to Mason. So, he promptly stood, and began to walk towards the library doors. Without sparring the man resting on the couch a second glance, he pulled the heavy oak doors open and left.
