Home alone.
"I'll be back at around 10:30,"Taylah's dad told her. He had a conference for work and was going to be gone all day.
"Okay Daddy see you then!" She planted a kiss on his cheek. "Love you!"
"Love you too! Remember to never answer the door to anyone" he said and closed the door.
She ran off to the kitchen and made herself some lunch and then turned the tv on.
For the rest of the day she spent it on the tv, eating snacks and talking to her friends on Facebook.
At around 10:00 there was a knock on the door.
"Coming!" she told the person at the door.
When she opened the door no one was to be seen. She thought it was a bit strange but she dismissed it as people ding dong dashing. She realised that she hadn't had a shower and headed up stairs to have one.
She was washing herself when she saw the shadow of the man with a knife coming closer to her she screamed and looked out of the shower.
The shadow was just we dressing gown and the door knob. she laughed at herself at how stupid she was to think that and dried herself.
She headed into her room and got the craziest feeling that someone was watching her. Just incase, she locked her door behind her.
She sighed a breath of relief and looked at herself the mirror.
When she saw the man with the axe behind her it was too late. He sliced it down on her, chopping her in half and causing her insides to spill out.
When her father got home half an hour later he was greeted by silence. he called Taylah's name in distress and when no one replied he went upstairs to check her room but found that the door was locked.
Only when he called the fire department was he able to see his daughters dead body.
