New Years resolution.
The guests were starting to arrive for our New Years party.
My best friend Maddy arrived with her boyfriend Nick.
"Happy New Year guys!" I greeted.
"Thanks Gracie!" replied Maddy.
We all say and talked about the new year for a while when Jessica, Bethany, Jimmy and Bob arrived.
"Hey what's your New Years resolution?" I asked everyone.
"I want to stop playing to many video games!" said Bob.
"I want to lose weight!" Bethany told us.
"I want to become vegetarian!" I told them.
"I want to stop overdosing on make up!" Jessica giggled.
"I want to start being more active!"exclaimed Jimmy.
"Wait how about you Nick? what's your New Years resolution?" I asked him curious to see what his was.
"Well I want to stop killing people," he said and we all laughed.
"Hahahhaha you're so funny Nick!" Maddy laughed.
The count down started to New Year and the fireworks that Nick had set up were ready to go.
"Ten!"
"Nine!"
"Eight!"
"Seven!"
"Six!"
"Five!"
"Four!"
"Three!"
"Two!"
"One!"
"Zero! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!" everyone screamed as the fireworks went off. Sparkling high in the sky.
But there was something odd about them.
Some of them weren't going off instead they plummeted to the ground and exploding on the party causing blood to fly everywhere.
They were bombs.
Everyone ran inside and watched in horror as the bombs hit the house. causing the roof to fly off and people scrambled for cover but they all just ended up with their guts hanging out and limbs strewn around the room, groaning in pain.
A bomb came down on me, blowing my legs off. I crawled to the other room to see my friends, dead on the ground.
The bombs had stopped and the only other person besides me alive was Nick who was staring at me with a creepy grin.
"No one usually sticks to their New Years resolutions do they?" he told me just before he twisted my neck, ending my life.
