Truth or dare?
Which one will it be Liam, truth or dare?" Cole asked Liam, with a look of excitement on his boring face.
Liam knew better than to choose dare as Cole was the king of daring, he would always make you do the most embarrassing or disgusting dares ever. thinking back to last month Liam remembered how he had made him drink toilet water and he was sick for days afterwards.
"Truth," he muttered starting to get bored. He was at Liam's house and were laying on his bed, he stared up at the ceiling and suddenly the cracks on the roof became interesting as he had nothing to do.
"Ummmm..... have you ever been really frightened before..like... you haven't slept for a week because of it." Liam thought back and remembered the thing he was most frightened of. He shuddered just thinking about it.
"Yeah?"
"Tell me!" Cole's face lit up in excitement.
"No... I can't," he replied. the very thought of it sent shivers down his spine.
"Dude, we're seventeen now! Tell me! Tell me! Tell me!"
"Ok ok ok!" He let out a breath of defeat.
"Well around 45 years ago a little girl lived in that house down the street, you know, the deserted one? Anyway her parents were very abusive to her and even though her mother denied it, her step father would rape her. So the girl invited a friend over to her house one night and they started talking about the prom that was coming up. The girls mother told the girl she could not go because she was too ugly and everyone would laugh at her. The girl didn't listen to her mother and every night after her mother was asleep she would make her dress. When it was finished the girl looked back at it in triumph. It was white and off the shoulder on one side and was lacy below her hips and had sparkly gems on it. the day of the prom came and the girl decided that she was going to run away from home. She gathered her things and walked out into the lounge room where her parents stared in oar at her.
'I'm going to leave home, I can't stand this any longer you cruel people.'
They stared at her in horror as she turned to leave the house, finally her mother grabbed hold of her and pinned her down to the ground and screamed terrible things in her face and called on her rotten step father to grab a knife from the kitchen. When the he returned he tended the knife out of his hand and slowly started to slit the girls throat. the girl still screaming at her punched her in the face at one last desperate attempt to escape but it was too late.""That's not that scary!" Cole laughed.
"It is when you have seen her before..." he muttered quietly.
"Hey! Why don't we go over to the house then! Come on! I dare you!"
"No"
"Yes"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"NO!!!!"
"YES!!!!"
"OK OK! Let's go!" Screamed Liam, just trying to get it over with.
They walked down the street to the old rickety house that Liam talked about and entered the yard.
As they pushed open the old rusty door they heard sudden movement from the inside of the house.
"Wow this place is creepy as shit!" exclaimed Cole.
"Yeah... we should go!" Liam panicked and started to make for the exit but the door slammed shut. He tried to open the door but it was stuck in place.
"Well we should explore for a bit now that we are trapped. I'll check downstairs and you check upstairs."
"Ok," Liam said, becoming more nervous by the minute. He headed upstairs and peeped into the nearest room sucking a deep breath into see whatever horrors awaited him.
Nothing.
He let out a sigh of relief just before all the lights went out and he geared Cole scream downstairs.
He rushed downstairs screaming his name and when he found him he was pointing to a floating knife it the air. around five seconds later the knife dropped to the ground.
Obviously creeped out by the occurrence of the knife he headed back upstairs and took one last peep in the room.
Only five minutes before the room was empty but right then the room had a carved message in the wall.
Get out or suffer.
He exited the room and headed into the bathroom where he dropped to his knees and started to vomit.
Hanging from the bathroom curtain was the girl, rope tied around her neck with a thick gash in her neck where her mother had once cut her. she was still wearing her little white dress which was quite beautiful besides the fact it was draped in blood.
Liam, still heaving looked up and saw the girls eyes flicker open.
He screamed and ran downstairs where Cole was laughing.
"Got ya!" He chuckled as his other friend Jace appeared from the room uostairs.
"Wow guys I actually thought that was real!" Jace and Cole high fived.
"So I guess u distracted me with the knife to give Jace enough time to carve the message into the wall but one thing confuses me,"
"What?" Cole and Jace said in unison.
"How did you get that dummy in the bathroom to do that stuff, it looked pretty realistic to me."
Jace and Cole looked at each-other in horror.
"What dummy?" Jace asked.
