Red Snow.

I decided today was the day.

Every full moon at midnight there has been a trail of blood leading somewhere. Tonight I, Trent Barker am going to follow it to where ever it leads me.

I have been thinking about this for a while now. Ever since I was younger and living with my dad there was always a red trail of blood on a full moon at midnight lining the snow.

"What is that daddy? Why is the snow red?" I used to ask.

"I don't know Trent but I'm curious to know what it is." he used to reply.

"One day we could go explore it!"

"It's too dangerous Trent go to bed."

One day he went out to explore it and never came back.

Now it's my turn, ten years later, to follow the red snow.

I got my rifle out from under my bed and waited.

12:00am

Slowly the blood appeared on the snow an I got my hiking boots on and followed it through the woods. My head held high, to avenge my father. The trail lead me to an old deserted house with a rotting wooden door.

I opened the door and almost had a heart attack as I saw all the mangled corpses in a big pile in the centre of the room.

I dropped to my knees as I saw my dads dead body somehow preserved near the top of the pile.

Now I lie on the top of the pile, limp, like my father and all those people before him.

I have a few words of advice for anyone reading this..

Never follow the red snow.
