chap 8; The new miraculous holder

Nino's POV

I am opening the door to my room and I am about to jump on my bed to go to sleep since it was dark and I have school the next day when I see a small box in the shape of an oxegon.

I look at it suspiciously but decide to open it.

A bright green light exploded in the room and I let out a yelp.

I dropped the box and pull out an umbrella I found lying around and pointed it at the box.

When the light went away I saw a huge green bug thing flying above my bed.

"Who-what are you?" I asked. I was curious, excited, and scared at the same time.

"I am a kwamii and my name is Wayzz. I am here to give you the responsibility of being Paris's newist Super hero. You will be partners with Volpina and together you will defeat Dark Bug and Chat Blac." He said in one breath which I was amazed but it didn't seem to phase him.

"You want me to do all that?" I asked in disbelief. "I think you have the wrong dude, my bro Adrian is really smooth and cool you should go find him." I said still in shock.

He smiled when I said Adrien's name though I don't know why.

"No the Master chose you and that means that you are perfect for this." He said still with a smile.

I looked at him full of confusion and it must have showed because he took a deep breath and explained,"Listen Master, you are the new miraculous holder and you say Wayzz, transform me and then you transform into a super hero like Lady Bug, Chat Noir, and Volpina.

You will receive a removable shell that can fly and can act like a boomerang. Once you say time break then time slows down only for you but you can touch only one person to make time slow down for them as well but for two minutes and then it will return to normal and then you have five minutes until you turn back into your regular self." He said again in one breath.

"Two things, first woooooow second don't call me Master that makes me feel like some kind of dictator or something you can just call me Nino." I said happily.

He nodded and smiled again.

"This is going to be a lot different from my previous master. "He said while laughing. I laughed along with him.

"Now it would be wise to transform and get used to your powers." Wayzz said.

"Ok Wayzz, transform form me!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

"What was that sweetie?" My mom yelled from downstairs. "Oh ah I just said I was going to go out for a walk!" I yelled back.

"But it's dark and you have school tomorrow!" She yelled.

"Uhhh I'll be back before ten."I yelled.

"Fine but no later then that!" She yelled.

I didn't want to go down stairs just in case my parents were down there.

So I opened my window and looked outside scared. It was big enough for me to jump out of but I didn't really want to. I then remembered what Wayzz said about my flying shell.

I took off my she'll and found out it was a magnetic force that was keeping my shell and costume together so it was easy to attach and take it off.

I tossed it lightly out the window and it was flying right next to the wall. I carefully stepped on it with one foot to make sure it safe and sure enough it was and I started to glide around the city.

Paris was so beautiful at night and the lights of buildings were sparkling as I passed bye. I had a feeling I never had before, I felt free and all the pressure of being a d.j was gone. The feeling was like when your on a roller coaster and it's the one point where you are going down hill full speed.

After a while of exploring the city in a new perspective I went to the Eiffel Tower and sat down at the top of it.

I was adoring the city when I heard something behind me I stood up and grabbed my shell and hid behind it. I looked for where the sound came from.

I didn't see anything.

"Who are you?" Said a girl's voice from the shadows.

"I'm umm-" I relized I haven't picked out a name yet.

"Well?" The girl asked interrupting my thoughts.

"Um Jade Turtle yeh Jade turtle." I said it more confidently the second time.

"Are you the partner Master Fu told me about?" She asked.

That's when I relized who was talking, "it depends are you Volpina?" I asked with a smirk on my face.

She came out of the shadows and walked towards me.

"It just so happens that I am Volpina." She said with a smirk on her face as well.

"Well as nice as it was to meet you I need to go to my house and get some sleep, I have school tomorrow." I said the smirk never leaving my face.

"Yep you get your rest for when Dark Bug and Chat Blac show up randomly." Volpina said trying to scare me.

"Oh about that I have no idea how to fight." I said sheepishly.

"That's okay that's how I felt on my first fight but randomly a fire lights up I side you and then you just know how to fight." Volpina said looking into the distance like she was rembering something.

"Thanks but I really should get going" I said realizing that I only have 5 minutes until my mom's curfew.

"Bye until next time" she said flying away.

Once I got home I said goodnight to my parents and went to bed thinking about my new life and how I was supposed to defeat Dark Bug and Chat Blac. I thought about Volpina and how cool she was.

She said that a fire would light up inside me and I hoped she was right.

Wayzz said he would train me tomorrow after school and I couldn't wait.

I fell asleep dreaming about my new secret life.
