Chap 24; The First Mission

Chloe's POV

School is finally out for the week and I walk with Sabrina to her house. We plan on having our first sleep over in a few years.

As crazy as it sounds I never slept over at her house before, and we've known each other for years! It's because I used to be so picky and would never want to spend a whole night in some lower class house but now i can't wait, it's obviously a huge step up from the motel.

All of a sudden I feel the ground move in evenly separated times, almost like giant, heavy foot steps. I look up to see a truck being thrown right at us. I push Sabrina out of the way and into a near by alley.

"We have to get out of here!" She whisper/screams to me.

"Hold on, hide behind these garbage cans." I hiss back. She looks at me questionably but does what I say with me following her.

We wait until we hear the giant footsteps get quieter as it walks away and then we sprint out of the alley and reach Sabrina's house safely.

She opens the door and beckons me to come in. "Uh I think I left my ummm p-phone in the ally, I'll be right back I'm going to go get it." I say and I run back into the direction of the alley without waiting for a response from Sabrina.

Once I'm safely in a near by alley pollen goes over my powers. "Okay remember honey, you have the power of immobilization. You yell venom and your opponent will freeze for 5 minutes. But you can only freeze one person per transformation and after they can move again you will only have 5 minutes until you detrasform."

I nod and yell, "pollen transform me!" Once I'm transform I look down to see that I'm wearing a spandex suit with black and yellow zigzags on it. I look at my waist to see a trompo wrapped around it. "Ok how do I use this? Well it kind of looks like Ladybug's yoyo, so it shouldn't be too hard, she's makes it look so easy after all."

I grab the spinning top and throw it, it wraps around a chimney not to far away. I take a deep breath and jump so my feet are off the ground and I'm flying towrds the chimney.

I scream beacuse I quickly realize I don't know how to stop and I'm going to hit my head against the chimney. Just as I was bracing for impact, strong arms grabbed me and all of a sudden I was placed on the roof gently. I look and see a familiar green super hero smiling at me.

"Whoah dude, take it easy it's your first day." He chuckled.

"Yeh I don't want you getting hurt too bad before we even go against the akumas, we need you out there." Someone says from behind us. I look over to see Volpina smirking at me.

"Sorry it's just that ladybug makes it seem so easy." I chuckle.

"Ok lesson learned but for now we have to figure out where the akuma is." Jade says turing back to the akuma.

"What even is that thing, it's hideous." I say making a grossed out face. It was a giant ugly man thing with one eye and a few brown rags as clothing.

"It looks like some kind of Cyclops or org." Volpina says with the same facial expression.

"If I had to guess the akuma is probably in the ring on his left pinkie." I say noticing that it's the only thing he has on him besides his clothing.

"Ok we need a plan, how about Queen Bee, you immobilize him, J.T you take his miraculous while I keep a look out for the bug and cat." Volpina says looking at us both for confirmation. I nod liking the sound of that plan.

"Good thinking Cotton Tail." Jade says smiling.

"Hey, we agreed that you wouldn't call me that." Volpina says rolling her eyes but smiling too.

"Oh come on, it rolls off the tounge!" He says back.

Before she can respond, I interrupt, "While you guys keep flirting, I'm going to do my job. VENOM!" I get my trompo ready and jump off the building followed by a blushing Jade Turtle and Volpina.

I land in front of the monster and when he sees me I could tell he's slightly confused but he yells, "I am Cyclops! I will destroy Paris if its the last thing I do! I was bullied by-"

"Yeh Yeh, before you go on with your evil monologue or whatever i want to show you my new toy. " I say rolling my eyes.

The top hits him in the middle of his hairy chest and he freezes with his fist in mid air aiming for me.

Jade flies towrds his hand but before he can do anything a string wraps around him and he's thrown off his shell and into a near by river, shell still in mid air.

I look towards the source and see a smirking Dark Bug and Chat Blanc.

"Well well well, what have we here? A new super hero? Do you really think that this insignificant bug can beat me?" Dark Bug cackles from a rooftop near me.

"Hey at least this bug has a stinger, what do you have a some unfashionable dots?" I shoot back

"Oh it's on stripes!" She yells as I use my trompo to get me in to the same rooftop at her.

We were in the middle of hand to hand combat when I realize I am fighting her with moves I didn't even know existed. Like since when can I do back flips, I ask myself while doing a perfect one.

All of a sudden my miraculous beeps and I look in horror at the Cyclops as he starts to move his fist down where I was standing before he got frozen. The street I was on a few minutes ago was now destroyed.

The Cyclops looked around confused as to where I went, not aware that he was frozen.

Dark Bug used this distraction to punch me right on the nose. Sending me flying in the air and off the building.

Before I could land on the hard street, I see that Jade's shell is still in the air without anyone standing on it. I use my trompo and throw it so it wraps around the shell and then swing up so I land on it.

I look around for the hero and see him just now crawling out of the river.

I quickly fly over to him while Volpina takes care of the 2 villains and the Cyclops goes on a rampage.

I land and toss him his shell. Just as I was about to go back into the battle zone Jade grabs my arm "whoah dude slow your roll, what do you think you're doing? You're a minute away from detransforming!"

"Oh I must not have heard it while I was wrestling Dark Bug!" I say running towrds an abandoned alley.

As soon as I reach the alley I detrasform. "We don't have time to chat pollen we have to go back and help the others!" I say quickly handing her some cheerios.

When she's finished I quickly transform back and find the 2 villains battling it out with the two heroes and the Cyclops taking his anger out on a tall building.

"CATACLYSM!" Chat Blanc yells in the middle of a fight with Volpina. I gasp and quietly swing on my trompo so I'm behind Chat Blanc and whisper "Venom" He doesn't seem to notice I'm there so I aim my trompo for him but before I can throw it everything goes black.
