Chapter 2: The Turtles

(Your POV)
~2 days later~

It been two days since I left the foot clan. Since I didn't have a place in the city, I slept in the car I stole and went out at night to see if I stop the foot in any next attack. I was out in an alleyway, searching for the foot when the turtles suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
"What are you doing here foot?" The red turtle said, angrily.
"I'm no with the foot. Anymore." I said.
"How can we trust you?" The blue turtle asked.
I checked to see if I had all my weapons and I did. They attacked thinking that I was about to attack them. I was keeping up with them for about 2 minutes then I was getting overwhelmed. The blue turtle disarmed me while the red turtle pined me against the wall.
"What should we do with her Leo?" The purple turtle asked.
"We'll take her back to the lair Donnie. Then we'll see if she's telling the truth." The blue turtle answered. So he's Leo.
The orange turtle put a cloth bag on my head. While Leo put restrains on me.
"Leo I don't think she's lying. She fought with a Kusarigama and Kunais. The foot we normally fight use guns." The purple turtle, Donnie I think said.
"Who cares. She's lying. She's just trying to find out where our new lair is." The red turtle said.
"But what if she's telling the truth Raph?" The orange turtle said, climbing down a ladder.
As we entered their lair, I could tell we were in a sawer.
"Boys, who is this woman?" I hear someone say.
"Sensei. I believe this girl can tell us what the foots next plan is." Leo said.
"Remember my son to be open minded about what she says." The person says.
The next thing I know I'm in a chair. One of the turtles removed the bag from my head and they were starring at me.
"Who are you?" Leo asks.
"(Y/n)." I answered.
"What were you do in that alleyway?" He asked.
"I was looking for foot members to stop them from attacking the city again." I said.
"Don't play games with us." The red turtle said.
"I'm not. Like I said I'm no longer with the foot. I escaped Shedder's mansion two nights ago." I said.
"Leo maybe she's telling the truth." The purple turtle said.
"Maybe not." Leo said.
"I am telling the truth, Leo."
"How do you know our names?" The red turtle said as he grabbed my uniform.
"I only know Leo's name. You keep saying it." I said.
"How do I know your not lying?" The red turtle asked.
"Test me." I said. They all looked at me confused.
"Test you? How?" The purple turtle asked.
"One by one I'll see if I know your names." I said.
"Okay. But first, what other names have you heard?" Leo asked.
"Donnie and Raph." I said.
"Owe she should guess who Raph and Donnie are." The orange turtle said.
"Sounds good enough." Leo said.
They lined up from Leo, purple, red and orange.
"I'll look at you when I'm guessing." I said. I looked at Leo.
"Leo." I then looked at the purple turtle.
"Donnie maybe." Then at the red turtle. He has emerald colored eye.
"Raph? I'm not sure though." I looked at the orange turtle.
"You could be Raph but I never heard a 4th name." I said.
They looked at each other in amazement.
"You really pay attention." Someone said. I look over to the door to see a giant rat.
"Sensei. You didn't have to come in here." The purple turtle said.
"I heard her say you three names and I had to see for myself." The rat said. The rat turns and faces me.
"Hello young lady. I'm Splinter and these are my sons. Leonardo, Donatello, Rapheal, and Michelangelo." He said.
"Sensei, why did you give out our names so freely." Leo said.
"Because Leonardo. Even though she has on a foot clan uniform, and is terrified she keeps a calm head." Splinter said.
"But how do we know she's telling the truth?" Donatello asks.
"When you get to my age you will be able to sense what is real and what is false." Splinter said.
"I still don't trust her." Rapheal said. Splinter walks up to me and untied me.
"Dad what are you doing?" Leo asks.
"Letting her proof that she is telling the truth." He answers.
I get up off the chair and stand in front of them. I wanted to gain their trust so they can help me stop the foot. Splinter then hands me back my weapons.
"If she is lying she will try to escape." Splinter says.
I put my Kunais on their rightful place on my belt and sheath my Kusarigama. I look at them and wait. As I was looking at the turtles I noticed that Rapheal has bigger biceps then the others. And that Donatello has the smallest. I could help but stare at Rapheal. For a mutant turtle he's very attractive. I walked over and leaned on the wall, waiting for some kind of response.
"You see Leonardo, Rapheal. She's not trying to escape or fight. After you are done here bring her to the training room." Splinter said.
"Yes sensei." Leonardo said. I looked at Rapheal again. Why can't I stop looking at him?
"I apologize for assuming that you were still with the foot." Leonardo said.
"It's ok Leonardo. I forgive you all." I said, smiling.
"You can call me Leo." He said.
"Ok then Leo." I said.
"How are you not freaking out after seeing us?" Donatello asked.
"I've seen you guys before. When Leo, Donatello, and Michelangelo were in those containers. I'm the one who told you that you were right about me having a choice." I said.
"Wait, that was you?" Leo asked.
"Yeah. I had my mask then. Kari completely destroyed it when she caught me escaping." I said.
"Well you make a good decision by leaving them." Leo said.
"And you can call me Donnie or Don."
"Raph."
"Mikey."
"Sounds good." I said.
"Best get you to Splinter." Leo said.
"I'll take her." Mikey said.
Mikey then led me to their training room where Splinter was meditating. I sat down in front of him and waited for about a minute before he opened his eyes.
"Tell me (y/n). Why did you leave the foot?" Splinter asked.
"I saw the way treated your sons and I didn't sign up to destroy the city and to use the mutagen to heal the ones dying." I said.
"I see. How long were you with them?" He asked.
"3 years." I said.
"And what did you to during your time there?"
"I trained with Kari and Shedder. They were just including me in their 'missions'." I said.
"When my sons were in Shedder's lab, was that your first assignment?" Splinter asked.
"Yes. I was forced to put them in box containers and hook them up to shackles." I said, looking down at my knees.
"I sense that you haven't forgiven yourself for that." He said.
"I blame myself for not helping them sooner. I could have set them free way before that girl did, but I was scared of what Shredder would do to my family out of state." I said.
"Then why did you leave?" He asked.
"Because it was the right thing to do. What Sacks was doing wasn't right. He was willing to have them killed for their blood." I said.
"(Y/n), I sense that you have a great deal of pain behind some words." Splinter said.
"I've made mistakes in my life what I feel I'm amending but leaving the foot clan and hunting them down." I said.
"Don't beat yourself up from the mistakes you've made in the past. We all learn from them." Splinter said.
"But how do I shake this guilt?" I asked.
"Meditation is a good way to find peace in this life. I'd start there." He answered. I nod and stand up to leave.
"(Y/n)? Do you have a place in the city to stay?" Splinter asked.
"No. I've been sleeping in a car at night." I reply.
"Why don't you stay here. I can show you how to properly use a Kusarigama and find your fighting style." Splinter said.
"I would like that." I said, smiling.
I bow and exit the room. Mikey was the first to come up to me asking me a lot of questions. I didn't say anything just that I said why I left the foot. Splinter entered the room telling the brothers that I will be staying here.
"So does that make her our sister?" Mikey asked.
"No, just a teammate." Splinter said.
"Will she be training with us as well master?" Leo asked.
"Yes she will." Splinter said.
