I heard a splash and that was when I started freaking out- what the feck was this guy doing?! All I was doing was minding my business in the bottom of a dark pool and in comes a hot af red-head, dragging my out of the pool by wrapping his arms around my sides- right on MY GILLS- and yanks me out of the water.
at this point, despite my breathing ability, both the speed of changing from my water breathing and my oxygen breathing and the fact this guy dug his elbows into my gills completely winds me and forces water to enter my lungs, my body bending over to cough and splutter the left over water that flooded my wind pipe.
"the FECK?!" I yelled, hand over my throughout and my elbows covering hy gills, arms tucked in like a little nervous fecking girl. The boy ignored me, falling me over to look me up and down, his hand on my chest before he deciding I was breathing enough to be 'alive', "were you trying to kill me?!"
"Sorry, I thought you were drowning" the soaked buy scratched at the back of his neck, his eyes darting back and forth over my chest and swimming trunks. I, in no effort to socialise with this boy, stumbled over to my shirt, turning away and pausing to link at my red and irritated sides, putting the shirt over my head.
"Turn." I demanded, looking around to see his turned before taking off my trunks and throwing on some underwear and ripped jeans, my skin naturally drying and causing no problems with potential wet socks as i sit down to tie my shoes.
"So, who're you? in a small town like this, we don't get very many newcomers." I questioned, brow arched as I fiddled with my tunnel piercings, putting my trunks in a plastic shopping bag and putting it in my vinyl satchel.
"Uh... I'm Mark- I transferred here... uh... today? Yeah. I, um-" Mark seemed to go on forever interrupting himself with his own mumbling, jesus this boy is a reck.
"so, you're Asian American?" I asked, half looking his way and half eyeing the clock on the top of the exit, the hands reaching almost registration.
"uh-... I'm Korean-Hawaiian-ish. I moved here from California so yeah... you?" Mark asked, beginning to shuffle towards the door, me following before we found ourselves walking towards the main block together.
"Irish republican, m'self, pure bred. born, raised,-... conceived? I don't know." I joked, finding he started following me after I turned to a dead-end hallway, walking to my locker which just-so-happened to have to be a top locker- something I struggled to even look into so much and find my books.
"you okay-"
"yes I can see into my locker, now feck off before I shove a leprechaun up your tight arse hole you ball-licking nerd!" I yelled, admittedly overly self-conscious of myself.
"I was gonna ask if you were okay from nearly drowning in the water, and if you should really be walking around school... but sure, I'll go I guess" Mark slowly turned around, and in a hurry to scrape what was left of my dignity from the fecking floor of hell, I turned back to my locker, 'hmf'ing like some basic bitch.
