I stood at the entrance to the castle with Father. He had an arm over my shoulders and dad was off in the kingdom welcoming the princess and her parents.

"Do you know what she's like?" I asked. He laughed again and I didn't understand why. "Let me ask you something son." He said. I looked up at him. "What's your favorite? Tacos or burritos?" He asked.

I stared at him without understanding. "I know your answer, and you'll figure it out soon enough." He said. I stared at him some more. Then I saw them coming. Dad led a group of men. I wondered if they were the princess's guard. A man with a white hat, blue shirt, and green backpack was next to a fiery man with a mohawk like flame sprouted from his head, and a boy much like the flame man followed. Except he looked more human.

Dad was talking and laughing with both men and the boy hung back. As if unwilling to be there I couldn't really see his face, but I could tell he didn't want to be there.

I shrugged off Father's arm and straightened my back. Before doing the brave thing...and hid behind his back. His father was still way taller than him, but he had caught up to his dad.

"Come on Leo!" Father said in exasperation. But I staid safely behind his imposing figure. "Tell me when they get here." I whispered quietly.

He sighed and I pressed against his back. "They're here." He whispered. "Okay. Then tell them to go away." I whispered back to him. He laughed then stepped to his side. And there I was left in the open and betrayed by my father.

"Blake this is my son Leo. Leo this is Blake. Your betrothed." Dad said. He had a broad smile on his face and I wanted to die right there. I was marrying the boy of my dreams. Literally.

He had the same face as the voice in my dreams. "Hi." He said. Then he seemed to grow brighter and his fire grew hotter. "Blake stop!" That was the fire person. "Sorry..." He said but he only grew brighter. The other man sighed.

"Come inside let's let these two get to know each other." Dad said. "Finn, Flame, how have you two been." Father asked, but he was leading them all away leaving me with Blake.

Is it Blake Blake? No. "So...Do you wanna go walk around maybe?" I asked. My voice sounded frail to my own ears. "Sure." He said. I glanced over at him. This was going to be my husband? He looked amazing, and I was in simple clothes. Not good enough for him.

I had seen how my parents dressed when guests came. Dressed to impress.

I led him away from the castle, shaking the dissapointing thoughts from my head

I led him away from the castle, shaking the dissapointing thoughts from my head. "What's your favorite color?" I asked trying to break the akward silence. He glanced over at me. Then he started to flare up again. "Pink..." He said.

"Cool. Mines blue like the sky." I said with a laugh about Blake's favorite. He leaned closer. "Are you laughing at me?" He bent his face close to mine and I could smell his breath.

"N-no! Not at all!" I stammered. He grinned at me. "Good." He said. Then he turned around and continued walking. "Do you even know where you're going?" I ask him. "Do I have to?" He replied with a smirk. I wanted to slap his stupid hot face.

I lengthened my strides to catch up, then stopped in front of him. He may have been taller than me but that meant nothing when I was mad. I turned into a pink bat and pointed a finger at him. "You don't get to come along and act like you're the boss of everything!" I yelled. My voice had fell several octaves and my eyes were a fiery red.

He shrunk away from me, and I changed back to my normal form. "Wow you don't have to be so uptight Leo." He said before walking away. I followed with a proud air around me.

"What's that?" He asked. I stopped and looked to where he was pointing. "Oh its a little shop. There's a fortune teller that owns it. Do you want her to read your cards?" I asked him while walking towards it.

He followed quietly behind me. I look back at him wondering why my parents had chosen him out of everyone in Ooo. It made no sense. Why him? From my experience so far I didn't like him that much.

I entered and the witch looked up. There were candy citizens in there and as soon as they saw me they were whispering in hushed voices. I instantly felt self conscious. I knew that not a lot of candy citizens liked me.

"You guys got a problem?" Blake said. He had turned and focused on them. His orange hair blazed up and his eyes were slitted. I tapped his shoulder. "It's okay Blake. I'm used to it by now." I say trying to get him to forget about it. But that only seemed to make him madder. He turned and looked down at me. I gave a small nervous smile. "I changed my mind. I wanna go back to the castle." He said.

My heart fell. I just wanted him to like me, but I seemed to only make him mad. He turned and walked out of the little shop. I watched him leave. Then with a big sigh I slowly dragged my heels as I trailed Blake to the castle.

His arrival had made me lose Hambo, and now I felt like crap.
