"Hey you two!" I turned at the sound of Blake's angry voice. It was coming from an ally. Should I? I decided against it and continued walking. It wasn't my fault he was so angry. I'd just let him blow off some steam.
"What's your deal with Leo?" I stopped short and turned towards his voice. "He's a freak. Why were you hanging around with him?" I stopped in front of the ally way. Blake stood with his back to me and the two candy citizens were leaning against the buildings.
"Take it back!" I was taken aback by the anger in his low voice. "Oh yeah? What are you gonna do about it?" Said the other one. "You're about to find out..." He said. He started towards them both. The air around them all was stiff with tension.
Then he moved fast and had one pinned to the wall and was punching him, but the other one dragged him off and gave him a kick, but before I could do anything to stop them the three of them were wrestling on the ground and was watching from the street.
Then I snapped out of it and jumped into the ally turning into a giant pink bat. "Stop! Citizens of Candy Kingdom! Obey your prince and leave now!" I said. They had frozen and the two candy people ran off without a second glance.
I shrank back down and offered Blake my hand. "Why'd you do that?" I asked as I pulled him from the dirty ground. "They shouldn't have been like that towards you." He muttered under his breath while his hair flared up.
"Well you shouldn't have done that. You could've gotten hurt." I said. I looked at his face. His eyes were downcast and there were bruises on his face. I reached up and prodded one with my finger as gently as I could. Then I realized how globbin weird that was.
But he didn't seem to mind. "They didn't have the right...You're their prince, and you've done nothing wrong!" He said angrily. His hair was going up again. "Why does your hair do that?" I asked while pointing at the flames. "Why are you still holding my hand?" He asked me and I realized with a shock that I was.
I wrenched my hand away from his and stuffed it in my pocket. "Open your eyes Little Lee. I'm not mad about it.." He turned and stopped. I halted too.
"But that's not all I wanna do..." He said. Before I knew it he an arm around my waist, and his other hand in my hair. He lifted me up to where we were eye to eye. My heart hammered in my chest and I took a shaky breath. Then our lips collided and I thought I would pass out.
He set me down and was leaning into it, but I didn't know what to do. I had my arms around his neck and my eyes shut tight. I blocked out the rest of the world and held onto him. Then he was gone and I was left feeling like a limb had been ripped away and I was out of breath.
We were both breathing heavily and I didn't quite understand what had happened. But he was looking at me with his sky blue eyes, and I wanted to kiss him again.
"That was an odd way of trying to open my eyes." I said. It was the first thing that popped into my mind and I instantly regretted it. "Funny. I think their still shut." And he was at me again. And I was out of breath all over again.
I ran my hands through his soft fiery orange hair, and pulled him even closer than he already was. "Prince Leo!" I leaped back and looked over at Pepper. "I-i I'm sorry Leo. But King Gumball and Marshall want you back at the castle." She said. I blushed, but Blake burned bright and hot.
"We'll be right there Pepp." I said while looking at the ground. "Okay Sire." She said before hustling away. I face palmed and started to laugh. But Blake only stood there looking stunned.
"Well...You opened them." I said. He caught on fire again. "Shut up." He said before walking forward and grabbing my hand. He dragged me along and I watched him. I subconsciously led the way since he probably didn't know the way, but all the same I couldn't stop staring at him.
