"it's been a while. how have you been?"
i smiled and nodded at the man with the large black spectacles. "everything's okay, i guess. what about you?"
"likewise." he smiled.
"how's yeoreum noona?" i asked cautiously, afraid of the answer i would receive.
"ah, she's fine. she just nabbed this really big internship that she had been eyeing, so she's really busy nowadays."
i let out an internal sigh of relief. thank god.
"well, tell her i wish her the best of luck with everything." i smiled. "i have to go-- i have a dentist appointment." i lied, wanting to get out of this uncomfortable environment. "see you around."
"yeah man, see you." he waved and walked deeper into the store.
i paid for my new sketchbook and walked back to my house.
who's to say that this sketchbook won't be filled with drawings of her too?
