Chapter 15

CHAT NOIR POV

I watched the entire nightmare play out from around the corner. What the hell did I just witness? Tiki must be Ladybug's kwamii. So this is Marinette's nightmare? If I were her this would be my nightmare too.

Seeing my miraculous being snatched away and given to Han. Marinette clinging on to Him. I shuttered at the thought.

Now I'm determined to save Marinette from this hell. I turned around the corner telling the other two heroes there to stay put. As I was walking behind 'me' and Chloe I tried to hit the dream me on the shoulder but my hand just passed through like....

That's it! The people in the dreams, they aren't real. None of this is! Why didn't I realize it before? All of it is just a dream. I just have to get Marinette to realize it.

"Marinette?" She looked up at me, sadness filling her eyes. I hated seeing her like this.

"Go away Adrien....Chloe is probably waiting, she's better than me anyways." Marinette broke the gaze and looked down to the floor. "I'm worthless apparently." She mumbled thinking I couldn't hear, but I did.

I pulled her chin up so she could look me in the eyes.
"Listen to me Marinette. You are not trash. This is all just a nightmare. And even if it wasn't I would still be by your side. No matter what."

Subconsciously we both leaned in closer. I could feel her breath and the heat from her face.

We where getting really close.

"Hey Chat?" I heard Firefox call out as he turned the corner and I jumped back due to my reflexes. He looks agitated. "U-hh yeah?" Damn it I'm stuttering. Not a good sign Adrien. I mentally face palmed myself and tried it play it off cool.

"We need to get going and find Ladybug, she can help." Firefox pulled my arm away from Mari and held her arm. "I can watch over Marinette."

"Nah it's ok....I got her."

"I insist."

"It's fine."

"Let me do this."

"Dudes? Come on stop fighting."

"ENOUGH." All of our heads whipped to look at Marinette, who had a very irritated expression on her face.

"I can take care of myself." Marinette started walking into the school leaving the rest of us to follow like children. Only when the guys and I walked into the school to follow Mari she wasn't there.

"Let's keep going." I coldly stated keeping my poker face on. I knew what Mari was trying to do. She wanted to separate from us so she could transform.

She doesn't have to though. She may think she's useless without her miraculous but she is still the same, with or without the mask. She still has the same charisma, confidence and knowhow.

"Shouldn't we wait for Marinette though?" Firefox insisted on staying to wait but I can't have him finding out Marinette's secret identity.

I got it!

I'll just keep him busy until Marinette comes back. Knowing her she probably found a safe place to transform so I can keep the guys here. I have to distract Firefox. How though? I have no clue.

"She went to the restroom!" I awkwardly blurted. "She has 'lady problems' so we should just keep waiting." Oh crap did I just tell Firefox and JT that Marinette has her period?
