Chapter 17

THRD PERSON POV

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the Miraculous Squad." A familiar voice called out, The four superheroes turned their heads to see who called out to them. They couldn't believe their eyes. This was an Akuma attack, and a very powerful one at that. They never could've expected this.

"Han?!" All four asked in unison. Hansume just laughed and shook his head. "My name is È mèng. And you are all doomed to a never ending nightmare." He snapped his fingers and shadow monsters appeared out of no where. "These are my dream demons, one touch and you'll be in your worst nightmare. As long as I am sure about what I'm doing, their loyalty to me won't falter." È mèng was dressed in an midnight blue suit, black dress shoes, and he was wearing a small black top hat and was floating carelessly in mid air.

"So Nightmare, these are the monsters who have been spreading fear around Paris?" Ladybug gestured towards the dream demons. "Oh I forgot you speak Chinese M- I mean Ladybug." È mèng walked towards Ladybug. "That would've been bad," he whispered in her ear. Chat looked about ready to high five him, in the face, with his baton. When È mèng saw this he put his hands up in a surrendering position and backed away. "My bad. My bad, and yes these are the beautiful beasts who have been spreading terror across of Paris."

"I was so heart broken when Marinette left me for a blonde Baka, an Akuma tried to take over me almost immediately but I was able to avoid for these past few weeks. But when Adrien beat me in fencing I knew I had no chance with Marinette so I gave into the Akuma and it's the best thing I've ever done."

"He is not a Baka! If anything you're a Baka! I find him adorable..." Ladybug scolded È mèng but mumbled the last part not wanting anyone to hear, but Chat did and he blushed, good thing he's wearing a mask that covers 90% of his face so no one could tell.

"That doesn't matter now! What matters is that you all are going to pay for her mistakes!" È mèng yelled, he sounded angry. He lifted his hand and his demons went into a fighting position.

"She didn't do anything wrong!"

"Chat?"

"No! Let me handle this my lady."

Chat took a deep breath.

"Mari did nothing wrong! She never loved you! And you can't change that, you can't change who you love and who loves you. Believe me, I've been in love with my partner for what seems like ages and the rejection she flew at me hurt..a lot but I couldn't do anything to change how she felt, and I turned out that I had an amazing person who already loved me right in front of my face and I didn't even realize it." Chat was starting to tear up. "I have no idea how much pain and rejection she felt because of me, but if it's half of what I felt it must've been hell for her. So please understand that none of this is her fault." 

È mèng's hand fell for a second and then went back up again. "SHUT UP! ALL OF THIS IS HER FAULT, SHE BEOKE MY HEART AND SHE NEEDS TO PAY."

"Han?" Nathaniel poked his head from around the corner. "Han? I know you told me to stay over there but I heard you yelling and I got worried." È mèng dropped his hand and his expression softened. "Nath go back to the meeting spot and I'll see you there ok?"

"No. Han you said you where over Mari? Why are you torturing the heroes of Paris? You said I made you feel better." Nathaniel started to get teary eyed. "I'll just go back. See ya." Nathaniel dragged his feet back around the corner.

"Nathaniel wait!" È mèng turned his attention back to the super hero squad. "Here! I need to go after him." He tossed his hat to Ladybug, and ran after Nathaniel.

"Do you think? No way." Ladybug smiled at the thought.

As ladybug was about to tear the fabric the dream demos attacked her. She flew back and hit her head, it wasn't fatal and she's still barely conscious. "Ouch.."

"Our master may he weak but we aren't!" THE said in unison. Chat and JT started fighting off the Demons while Ladybug was trying to find the hat that was knocked out of her hands.

At long last she found it and tore it. She purified the Akuma and Paris returned to its natural state. She turned her attention back to Chat.

"You don't think..?" Ladybug smiled.

"I do..." Chat answered as they went to go find Han and Nathaniel.
