"oh such torturous things, always chewing up the only words I ever mean. if you're going then go."

From a mountain in the middle of the cabins ~ Panic! At the Disco

It had been around half an hour since Brendon had come up to the tree. Spencer had finally agreed to shower and Jon was.. well I don't even know what Jon was doing.

I was still pretty ticked off though.

Sure, I said it was okay. I never said I had to mean it though.

"You alright Ry?"

I snapped out of my daze and looked at Brendon.

"Yeah. I'm fine, thanks."

"Oh, okay. So what do you guys wanna do today?"

Jon's eyes lit up.

"We could finish writing the album! You know, before we ended up here. Plus, you never finished that song, Ryan."

I smiled. I never did finish that song for Brendon.

"Yeah! I'll go fetch a piece of paper."

Brendon's smile faded.

"I thought we agreed to forget about all of that! Our band isn't going to make anymore music. We're here! Do you not realise that?"

Jon looked down.

"We're still Panic! At the Disco, Bren."

I nodded. Music had always been my strong point. Our band meant the world to me.

"Yeah. I miss making music. It's not the same, y'know?"

Brendon frowned and grabbed onto Jon's arm.

"We need to talk, Jon."

Jon shrugged his shoulders and got off the tree.

"Won't be too long, Ryan."

I nodded and waved. What was that about?

Brendon's POV:

I pulled Jon over to the woods.

"Hey Bren? What's up?"

"Don't you 'Bren' me, Walker. Listen. You need to get that stupid idea of going home out of your head. You bloody well know we aren't going home. Stop filling Ryan's head with all that crap. You got it?"

Jon sighed.

" I don't see why it bothers you that much."

I grabbed his shirt and pulled him so that he was close to me.

"Either stop talking about going home or I'll make sure you never go back. Got it, Walker?"

Jon's expression changed to a sad one.

"I get it. You don't wanna hurt Ryan."

I sighed and nodded.

"Look, I'm sorry for being harsh, but I don't want him to have false hope. Besides, it's nice here! Let him focus on other things. Tell him that you don't want to carry on with the album."

" I can't do that!"

"Did I say you had a choice?"

Jon sighed.

"Fine. But at least let him finish that song."

"Alright. But nothing after that, got it? I would hate to ever see Ryan sad."

A/N Do y'all like the new cover? The old one got a little boring. It's simple, but I quite like it. What do you all think? Chao! xx
