Christmas is in the Air

Niall's POV

"COME ON NIALL LET'S GO!" I heard Jackie's familiar voice scream, "ITS CHRISTMAS LET'S GO!" I felt a body jump on top of me.

"Ouch!" I groaned in agony, "it's too early to have a wrestling match".

"No Niall," she teased, "we want to open gifts and it's already passed eleven". Hearing that made me immediately hop out of bed. Last night, I wasn't on the phone talking to my parents, I was buying a present for Jackie. I got her a piano. It was a vintage-y one but it still worked beautiful. It was a little bit pricey with delivery since today was Christmas, but it wasn't anything I couldn't pay for. I'd do anything for Jackie. I also decided I was going to give her another small thing. It was a blue heart Swarovski crystal necklace that sparkled and would look perfect with Jackie's sharp, hypnotizing violette eyes. I originally bought it for Barbara, but since I wasn't going to see her I might as well give it to someone else instead. Another thought popped into my head, which caused my grin to grow even larger. Today was the day. Today was the day I was going to break up with Barbara and commit myself to Jacqueline. I couldn't stand denying my feels anymore and I needed to show her how much I care about her before I leave again.

"Stop daydreaming Niall!" she screeched in my ears again,"WE GOTTA GO!"

"Ugh fine," I moaned tiredly as I pushed her off of me as I walked over to grab my blue shirt. Her eyes widened as she looked at my abs.

"Liking what you see babe," I said wiggling my eyebrows at her.

"No you pervert," she blushed heavily, "now I'm tired of waiting see you later". I tightened my plaid Christmas-y pajama bottoms and slipped on my brown loafers. I saw Jackie in the kitchen with the little boy, Michael. They were sitting at the island and they were laughing at something. Melody was sitting and watching them with a smile as she sipped out of a blue coffee mug. Henry had his arm snaked around her and he leaned his head against her shoulder.

"Hey you two," I said as I took a seat next to Michael, "where's everyone else?"

"They're coming," she said with her award winning smile. We all just sat there talking about random things and listening to each other.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!" I heard Lou's all too familiar screech as he ran down the stairs. The boys all groaned as the shuffled into the kitchen.

"Lou pipe down its too early in the morning," Zayn grumbled.

"Well it's Christmas! And Michael and I want to open up our presents!" Louis said as he pinched his cheeks.

"Yea!" Michael pipped up, "we've been waiting for you guys all morning!"

"Come on guys," I said as I stood up from my chair, "they've waited long enough". We all jogged into the living room in excitement and presents covered in different colorful wrapping paper were placed under the lightened tree. Everyone rushed to the tree to pick out their presents. Surprisingly, we all found ones addressed to us. We all got socks, CD's, candy and random other stuff.

"How?" Harry asked confused, "we arrived way too late for you guys to go and get us something".

"Maybe it was Santa," Henry said with a wink. We all chuckled at him. Finally all the presents were unwrapped but her gift did not arrive yet. I rubbed my hands against my thighs in fear. As if on cue, the door bell chimed out.

"Be right back," I rambled as I quickly scrambled to the door. I yanked the door open to find a over weight man with glasses, smiling happily with a box the size of Harry on the steps.

"This is for Niall Horan?" he asked politely.

"Yup!" I whispered as I helped him bring the box inside, "thank you so much for delivering today. I know its Christmas and you'd rather be with your family. It means a lot".

"Why thank you," he replied, "that's very kind of you".

"Eh no problem, hope you have great holidays!" I said as I slapped him a twenty dollar bill. He stared at the bill with wide eyes and I saluted him goodbye. I shut the door and squeal internally. She was going to love it.
