Chapter Five

Risum's POV (Lilly)

As I watched, the colored window shattered, a broken easel having crashed through. A boy with cut cheeks jumped out. Behind him, I saw a man wearing a white mask with a blood-red smile on it, and it seemed like he was freaking out. Not long after Jeff landed on the ground, a darkly clothed man emerged from the front door.

Jeff cursed before sprinting into the forest. The tall being quickly gave chase. As I followed the pair, I realised something was wrong with the man. He was taller than most, and his skin was of a very light shade. When I got closer, I found that the being had no face. Instead, there was just a blank, white space. It was almost as if there was a piece of cloth covering his facial features.

Suddenly, black tentacles emerged from his back, heading for Jeff. Was this the myth that my 'students' often babbled about? The faceless one, who killed children in the forest and raised a troupe of homicidal individuals? Slenderman?

As I scrambled through the trees, I noticed that there were pieces of paper here and there. Curious, I had almost stopped to grab one when a voice tore through my head.

"JEFFERY," it roared, "WHY DO YOU RUN?" Jeff looked back.

"Fuck you!" he screamed, showing him his middle finger. This action enraged the taller being, and the tentacles began getting faster. Jeff was barely able to keep his lead. Suddenly, they happened upon a large clearing, where Jeff turned around and took a fighting stance. They began fighting, with Jeff at the disadvantage.

Jeff quickly pulled a random knife from his shoe. Growling, he lunged at the tall being. It took a step back before continuing it's attack.

Jeff yelped as one of the tentacles slapped him. Growling, he targeted the offending tentacle and managed to cut it off. The owner of the tentacle roared, creating a sound that tore through my head. Jeff shakily began walking towards the tall being. I could see rage in his eyes. Quietly, he said something with his gravelly voice.

"Fuck you."

Jeff the Killer's POV

I looked at Slenderman, wanting to kill him. How dare he slap me! Growling, I changed my grip on my precious knife. Then I stuck it back in my shoe, turned, and ran. Reality is harsh. Mortals can't just kill immortals. They can only run.

Slenderman followed me, continuing his onslaught with his tentacles. Quiet footsteps came from the trees above me. Had Hoodie or
Masky followed me?

Slenderman shot a tentacle at me, which I cautiously jumped over before ducking under another. More and more tentacles came for me until I was barely able to dodge them. Shit. At this rate, I might not get away...

I sliced a tentacle in half and rolled under another, nearly faceplanting into the next. Another tentacle whacked the back of my head. They were getting faster. As I dodged the next few, I began being less aware of the enviorment. This was a mistake. I tripped over a tree root and hit my head on a sharp rock. Slenderman had picked me up by the time my vision cleared. I could feel the wound bleeding profusely.

As my vision went black, I saw a blurry face in the trees. It smiled  eerily at me, then raised a single finger to it's mouth.

Slenderman's POV

I nearly killed Jeffery. No, not Jeffery. Jeff. I nearly killed Jeff. When he stabbed my tentacle... My vision just went red. The rage just overwhelmed me.

As I picked up a stunned Jeff, I noticed he was staring at something in the trees. Looking up, I saw a little girl. She looked to be about 12 or 13. The girl continued staring at me for a few more seconds before cursing and running away.
