One months salary, (Deadpool reference btw) they said. I don't really know what I am doing, but I know it's a good idea. Tyler is at home with his mom, Kelly, and me? I'm in the mall at some random jewelry store. One months salary.

I have $1000 dollars to do this, and I'm still as nervous as I was when I asked him to be my boyfriend 3 years ago. I mean look at me, I'm 23 years old. I have a house and a job, sure, but I'm standing in the middle of a high-middle class jewelry store looking like a delinquent at a skatepark. I just want to make Tyler happy, it's all I want.

"Excuse me- uh, sir, can I help you with something?" A man, about in his forties walked up to me. He had that look of, who let this poor man in here? I shoved the thought out of my mind because this is for Tyler. I knew, by the looks of the man that he was a homophobe and it didn't make the situation any better.

I nod and shoved my hands in my pockets, "Yes, uh, I need an engagement ring but I don't know what to look for." I said, truthful. He nodded, a smiled forming on his face as he motioned me to a case of rings with the prices set out beside them. "These are the cheapest ones, so it should be around your price range. The highest ring is $300, but the cheapest is $100. If that is do-able for you." He was a snob, I wanted to punch the light out of the dick. I shook my head and looked at him with a slightly annoyed look but I remained polite.

"No, no, I have $1000, and these are girl's rings- I need a guys' ring." I stepped back, he nodded and turned to walk over to a more light up area. I followed and the second case showed even more ring but with higher prices. I smiled.

"I'm going to let another, hm, more supportive employee come and help you. Good day." He walked off, and I was thankful for that because if I had punched him then I wouldn't have gotten the ring. A few minutes went by and a girl with very blue hair came up to me with a smile.

"Hi, my names Ashley, you must be the lucky fella who wants a ring, amiright?" She smiled at me again, I nodded and returned the smiled or a the friendly face. She turned to look at the rings, each one looked different then the other.

"Well, your range is $1000 and that's middle priced so there is no doubt you boyfriend will be happy with any one of these. Can you tell me about him?"

I chuckled, but nodded anyways. "He's name is Tyler Joseph, uh-"

"Wait? I think I went to school with this kid, what's your name?" She asked, suddenly looking excited and jumpy.

"Josh Dun, I was team leader on the soccer team. Tyler was the team leader on the Basketball team." I smiled

"Oh, my god! I know you guys! I was the one who kicked Brendon Urie in the nuts." She stated, completely nonchalant and happy as ever. My eyes went wide, I smiled and went to hug her as soon as she went in to hug me.

"Nice to see you, girl. Tyler will be so happy to hear from you!" I stated, then I remembered that I was here for Tyler and I didn't have long to be out before I had to go back to him.

"So, how's Tyler and Brendon doing?" She spoke, she leaned against the glass cases and watched me pick out a ring. I laughed, just thinking of all the random thing that have happened since graduation.

"Well, Tyler is great and just, so amazing. He's grown so much more open since he left highschool. We went to the doctors a while back and found out some interesting news, to say the least." I spoke, chuckling under my breath and continued after Ashley had asked to do so.

"He has this... condition? He has ovaries in fallopian tubes, and things like that. He could get pregnant, and he is and that's why I am here." I looked at her, he had her hand over her mouth with a smile on her face.

"That's so cute, Josh! I need to see all of y'all again, I hate that we forgot each other after grad happened." She jumped in excitement. I nod.

"Definitely, hey, I like this ring, and I think Tyler will too."

After Ashley had gotten the ring out of the case she scanned it and exchanged it for the $1000 I had

After Ashley had gotten the ring out of the case she scanned it and exchanged it for the $1000 I had. After that was done me and her made plans for her and everyone we knew come over and have a little party. "See you later, Ash! It was great seeing you!" I walked out of the mall, returned to my little dodge car and made my way home to Tyler.

I don't know when I'm going to ask him, but I will and that's all that counts.
