"Did you do the Chemistry homework?" Nicole asked me, biting her lip.
I leaned against my locker to think, "Did we even have homework?" I yelled in frustration and acted as if I hit my head to my locker, "I really dislike Mr.Falton, he's like the type who always gives homework and wants it the next day, ugh."
Nicole chuckled at my reaction and handed me her perfectly done homework, "Copy it down immediately," she said looking down at her watch, "class starts in 7 minutes."
She waved at me and went to her boyfriend, Brian. I mumbled a thank you after her and sat on the floor to copy her answers on to my blank worksheet.
I hated school work. Not actually school, because I was with my friends here and if we exclude the classes we actually have fun everyday. But school work was such an other level, it was full of stress, and literally overwelming with pressure.
It took me 5 minutes to write them down and making them more simple, so if Mr.Falton would decide to read my answers he would definitely think that it was me who wrote them.
I streched my body and put our homeworks in my backpack, ready to go to the Chemistry class. I came just in time, Mr.Falton coming behind me.
I went to my seat next to Nicole and gave her her homework. She secretly took it and placed it on her desk.
"Good morning guys! Let's start our day by checking your homew-" his voice was cut by the announcement.
We listened the announcement, "Dear 11th graders, we are going to be choosing who will go on the 5-country visiting tour, right now at the conference room. Please take permission from your teachers to come here. It will start in a minute."
We looked at eachother and started to ask him;
"Mr.Falton can we go?"
"We need to be there so please let us go!"
"We would never forget this favor Mr.Falton!"
"Do you let us go?"The room was filled with noise and Mr.Falton hit his board marker on to his table to make us all go silent. "Yes, you can go, only if you hand me your homeworks." Him and his obsession with homeworks. Nearly half of the classroom, we, handed our homeworks and ran to the conference room.
Our school has a conference room yes.
Fancy, huh? Actually, not. It was once a place where some students would smoke then the principal decided that it needs to be changed and turned it into a conference room. Which is full of chairs and a chalkboard. With its walls painted dark green, such an amazing choice! If you didn't notice my sarcasm, now you do.
When we get there nearly all of the seats were taken, through the end we found two perfect chairs waiting for our butts to be put on. We sit down and waited for the teachers to speak.
Ugh! I was so excited, there was a really low chance that I was going to be picked. Still I was full of hope. This tour has been being planned since the semester has started which was like three months ago. Since then whenever it came to my mind I would bite my nails with anxiety and also happiness. The tour was consisting of visiting Germany, Turkey, Greece, South Korea and last but not least Japan. The accommodation was also planned carefully and was always in qualified hotels.
There was no reason for me not to like this perfect tour!
Mrs.Terridin was the first one to talk, "Okay guys, hope you're having a good monday morning,"she said, whispering, "if that's even possible." She was one of the best teachers in our school and her profession was Biology. That was why my favourite lesson was Biology, I always have fun listening to her talking about our cells and tissues. "I assume that you all have eaten eggs for breakfast today, because you look so egg-cited."she laughed at her own joke, even though this was one of the lamest jokes ever, some other teachers laughed along too. "As you can see, we have a plastic bowl here, full of pieces of paper. That have your names on. We will pick two papers out of this and those lucky ones will be able to go on the tour. Pretty simple. So, you start Mr.Plankton," she said holding the plastic bowl to him.
