“I knew you thought Triston was hot!” Sophie screams as I finish the chapter.

“Are you serious?! All you got from that was that I thought Triston was hot?” I start laughing to hide the fact that I’m blushing.

“Well, you never admit it,” she pouts.

“I don’t think he is anymore. I was young and naïve,” I state.

“It wasn’t even a year ago and don’t think we don’t see you blushing,” Alison adds.

My cheeks become hotter, but I’m saved by none other than Bri.

“Well, I like the chapter. It’s a good way to start the story,” she says.

“That’s because it’s about you,” Alison laughs.

“That’s not why!” she exclaims, “It’s because it’s how our story started. It’s how everything started. If Val and I had never been partners, none of us would be friends today.”

            “That is true,” Sophie agrees.

Alison pouts and we all laugh.

“And now,” Bri decides, “it’s my turn.”

            “For what?” I ask.

“For my story, idiot,” she says and takes the laptop.
