Illya's Pov

"So the maid did it?" I said to Napoleon as we walked behind the stretcher with the maid's body in a body bag lying on top of it.
"I guess so," Napoleon replied, "she broke through one of the doors and made her way to Joseph Parker. But the note...I don't understand it."
Suddenly Lucas from earlier approached us.
"The brothers spoke up," Lucas said. "They put Maria Anderson, the maid, up to the task. They thought nobody would find out she did it but they made a plan if someone did. They constructed an army of a thousand men to hunt down the people who discovered that she killed him. These army of men are hunting you both, Gaby, and Shannon. You all must go into hiding."
"And when do we come out of hiding?" Napoleon asked.
"When they are all arrested," Lucas replied, "and when they are all dead."
"Where will we be hiding?" I asked.
"In America," Lucas replied. "New York City, Manhattan. Don't worry, you all will be staying in the highest rated hotel and we have already paid for plane tickets and we will play for the hotel rooms as long as you need them."
"And the army won't follow us there?" Napoleon asked.
"We can't promise that," Lucas said, "but this is the safest bet. You all leave tomorrow. Oh and here are your covers."
He handed me a piece of paper.
"Thank you," I said
"Good luck," Lucas said, "and look out for Shannon...it's what Joseph would have wanted."

The plane ride was very long and boring. It was also very early in the morning and I couldn't keep myself awake. I looked out the window at the big white clouds and bright blue skies.
"So this time our cover is wife and husband?" Gaby asked me. I turned to face her.
"Yes," I replied with a grin, "our fake romance is blooming."
"Who said it was fake?" Gaby asked.
The grin faded from my face. She always did that. She would always make me fall in love with her even more and flirt with me. I never knew if she was serious or just playing with me. I looked away. She probably didn't want me anyways.
Napoleon turned around in his seat and popped his head into our aisle.
"Hey lovebirds," he said, "what's up?"
"Nothing much," I said, "and you?"
"Bored out of my mind," Napoleon replied in a whisper, "Shannon doesn't talk much."
"Better get used to her," I said, "she is going to be your fake wife for a while."
"This cover sucks," Napoleon whispered.

Finally the plane landed and we made our way to our hotel. Gaby and I made our way to our room as Shannon and Napoleon made their way to their room. We entered our room and unpacked our stuff.
"Only one bed?" Gaby said inspecting the bedroom. "You'll sleep on the sofa, Illya. If there is no sofa then sleep in the bathtub, if no bathtub then on the floor."
"You're so nice to me," I said giving her a smirk.
"What?" She said, "Are you saying you want to sleep in the same bed as me?"
My cheeks turned red.
"Is that a trick question?" I asked.
She kissed me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and ran her fingers through my hair. I wrapped my arms her and pulled her closer. We had broken up a while ago I didn't know why. I never wanted to end things and I guess she felt the same way as well. The relationship was very serious and that could have been why we ended it but now I wasn't going to take her for granted.
"You don't know how long I've been waiting for this," Gaby said as I kissed her cheek, "I've been giving you hints."
"I thought you just knew how much I loved you...and that you were playing with me...I didn't  know you felt the same way," I replied.
She smiled and pressed her lips against mine again. Finally the day had come where I didn't have to wake up in the morning and sulk about not being with Gaby. At last we were together.
