Chapter Eight: Blood Moon Festival part one

Midnight pov

Today i get to go with my father to the foxxe realm, im bit nerves but thats only natural for me when it comes to this festival. plus todays the Blood moon festival and my fathers taking me, plus Aoilyns gunna be there i cant wait, Aoilyn is the Crimson moon so her and Lunaria are gunna just hang out but i really hope i run into her Aoilyns the best.

"Midnight you all packed!" My fathers voice echoed from down stairs.

"Yah! Just gotta grab my pearl!"

"Okay! Your moms waiting in the car!"

"All right father!"

I headed down stairs, and out the door soon as i reached the car my father put my suitcase in the trunk. I got in the backseat while my mother drove. My dad has rarely visited but thats due to his groups patrols in the foxxe world, apparently my parents reunited at the blood moon festival before i was even born so this means alot to them. Especially since this is the day a year my mom can axcaully return to the world of foxxe. Were going as a family but once festivals done i get to stay at my dads for a month. I do this every year since i was one when he first got to see me, i could imagine him crying. my mom told me the story the first time he got to meet me. 

"Midnight? Hello!"

"Huh..oh um sorry zoned out mom..."

"Its okay sweety. Oh and Echo called last night, told him you would be gone for bout a month he seemed sad but i let him know youll be okay."

"Thanks mom. Oh can u turn up the music please?"

"Midnight you do know when we get there, your dads gunna be on edge. Before you were born-" midnight cut her off "father had enemys that threatned to hurt you because father choice you over them n turned goody toshoes"

"Hey!" My father yelled " i turned good not goody toshoes..where do you kids learn these words"

"Zerion, school they learn them at school my dear n midnight here is a straight A student." My mom said

I put my head phones in n blocked them out man they can be so infuriating at times. It irritates me when they start flirting with eachother.

2 hours later

Zerion Pov

I look back, midnights passed out in the backseat. Were gunna be at my house soon to drop our bags off. But i worry due to the blood moon festival is a all week thing but Anne has to go home after today, then im stuck with a teenager, which i have no clue how she will react when she finds out i got a job in the palace. I have loved midnight since the moment i found out she was on her way to this world. She is so much like me yet has her mothers beauty.

Flash back

I was walking throught the festival, one person on my mind. Anne, man i love her, its hard to believe i fell in love with someone...ive always been so cold hearted.

"Zeri!" A voice boomed i jumped and looked up...

"Cora....um hey"

"Zeri...heyy i know we've been apart for couple years but...any thoughts bout joining us back at home..or are you still refusing to return n live a life of evil.."

"Cora...i dont know..i cant get Anne off my mind, its as if she is my life"

"Zeri..are you in LOVE!"

"Maybe..but she hates me now..i lost control of foxxe senses n kinda bonded with her..."

"Awwwe! Thats my Zeri, bet she loves you too, and i doubt she is mad. Plus your true and kind no matter how evil you can be" she smiled and grabbes my arm clinging to it.

Cora is my older sister whom i always spent time with its been two years now since i left home and turned evil.

"What...the..my foxxe senses are tingling...Annes near...but where-" the moment i said those words i saw her, and she was glowing with beauty. She turned toward my direction and the minute she spoted me, she glared at Cora who was clinging to me.

"Cora..ill be back. Gunna go chat with Anne"

"Okay! Loverboy" she said winking.  I rolled my eyes. My sister can be such a flirt but i still love her. I walked up to Anne. Her companions glared at me.

"Zerion.."

"Anne..."

"What you want.. I see you moved on.."

She seemed sad bout me hanging with my sister. Was she jelious! She really does love me. My love is not one sided!

"Not really, thats just my older sister Cora. She just happens to always be protective over me. Anyway Anne I love you, im sorry bout what happen..i had no control.."

"Zeri..on i...i..love you too!" She hugged me. But something seemed off.

"Are you..pregnant?"

"Yes! And i really wanted to tell you but i wasnt sure if you loved me."

"Oh Anne ill always love you..id do anything for you and my little one." My eyes were lit with joy n tears.

"Um Zerion...you okay?"

"Yes i am Anne just filled with joy." I hugged her n held her close, i could feel tears coming from her onto my jacket.

Flash back ended.

Seems just like yesterday all this happened. Plus on good side Cora coming tomorrow so she gets to see how big Midnight has grown.

"Midnight wake up were almost at my  house..we passes through portal safely. "

"Hmm *yawns* okay father." She got up and looked outside. Then smiled at me.  "Father is my favorite ride gunna be here again this year!"

"No..they dont have many rides this year..there funds are low."

"Oh.." She frowned. Makes me sad to have to see her like this.

"Um will Aunt Cora be here this weekend i really miss her"

"Yes she will Midnight. I love you cupcake"

"Love you too Father"

We pulled into my driveway and Midnight hopped out of the car grabbed her bags and flew into the house me i took my time for me it comes with age. Luckly im a keeper, i could live for an internity.

Midnights pov

The instant i reached my room i put my bags down and put on my sundress, i couldnt wait. Aunt Coras gunna be here plus we get to go to festival! Im so excited!

Anne pov

"Zerion, we have to chat"

Zerion and i were in the kitchen while Midnight was in her room, so i had to let him know what master Rinico filled me in on.

"Yes, dear?" He said smiling at me.

"Recently Midnight broke her seal, its as we feared she had night powers like you..but stronger theres a chance she could be full but half human, plus she recently fell in love but is heartbroke cause they have to pretend it never happened. If you ask me her and Storm are meant to be"

"Anne dont worry Master Rinico told me everything already, we will figure it out later but for now lets take a nap till the festival starts"

Part 2 will be out soon. There will be flash backs appearing at times due to Zerion and Annes past at the festival and some Midnight flashbacks of festival.
