Most days with you were good, although we did have our fights. I'm insecure and I'm sorry that sometimes it took over a little bit more than it should. I think you knew that I was a bit crazy, though. It's not my fault I'm so jealous.
"She doesn't even mean anything to me," you said
"I know," I knew, yet I still cried to you because I hated that you still talked to your ex.
"You don't want me to talk to her do you? I'm just talking shit to her." You explained yourself.
I was jealous as hell, but never once tried to argue it. I let you keep talking to her because I felt like a part of you was still holding onto her, even if you denied it. You denied any emotional connection with her, but I left it alone, because keeping peace between us meant more to me than proving a point.
I don't like fighting, but I would've fought for you any day. I still would if I could, I'd fight every girl who came near you, but I can't do that anymore. You did always love how protective I was, how jealous I got, how much I hated girls looking at you and whatnot. I understood why they would do that, though. I don't know if you ever understood how attractive you were, I think you knew you were hot, but I don't think you realized how hot you were.
I set our few groceries on the small table by the self-checkout machine. I started tapping and scanning as you walked around, distracting yourself with the displays. I glanced to my right and saw two girls standing in the aisle, just staring. I followed their gaze which landed on you.
"Hey, babe," I said, you responded quickly and walked over to me, wrapping your arm around my hip
"Yes, baby?" You asked, kissing my temple.
"Nothing, those girls were just staring at you and I had to show them who you belong to."
You smirked and slid a finger under my chin, pulling it up to face you.
"I'll give them something to look at," you said before attaching your lips to mine, a heated kiss, but not too long. Enough to shut the two giggling whores up.
