Today was great! Everyone seemed to except us. There were of course the few who were homophobic, but their reputations can be easily changed with a simple rumor.
I know it isn't the right thing to do, spread rumors because someone disagrees with you, but if you insult my Trunks, I will RUIN you. Being the kingpin has it's advantages.
Trunks and I were on our way to class when we pass by the head cheerleader. She and I haven't always seen eye to eye but she knows how dangerous I am and I know she is the third most influential person in school. Behind Trunks and I of course.
"Trunks, you're gay?"
"Not really. It's hard to explain"
"Long story short we're dating" I said with a valiant smile.
It's no secret she has liked Trunks since freshman year. She was always so clingy and obnoxious. Anyway, Trunks seemed to be the only person who never noticed how she acted. It got annoying really fast, but Trunks is a pretty boy jock, and they usually associate with airhead cheerleaders, so I figured it would only help his reputation to be seen with her.
"Well if you aren't gay, then there is still a chance you can be happier with me" she said with a smirk.
Oh this little tramp had another thing coming. I was infuriated that she just hit on my boyfriend. She knows we are together and continues to hit on him.
"Why would he be happy with worn out parts?" I fired back.
"These "parts" still get the job done"
"I'm sure your mom says the same thing"
"Grrrrrrr....... This isn't over Goten. By Trunks" her tone of voice switched to sweet once she addressed Trunks.
"Goten where did the animosity come from?" Trunks asked me
"I have been holding that one in for a while. Seeing her do that made me angry, so I just said what I was thinking"
"It was funny, but next time, let me do the talking. We don't want the whole school thinking we're jerks because she goes and exaggerates things"
"Trunks, who is the most influential person in the school?" I asked
"You" he said getting my point.
"She can't do anything" I said reassuringly before kissing him.
The rest if the day was boring. I got a few high fives from people in the hallway. Word spreads fast here and they must have heard about our "discussion" this morning.
Once school let out, Trunks and I went back to Capsule Corp to do homework. I had to go home immediately after because my mom was cooking dinner and I had to be there. I got home and immediately wanted to return to Trunks.
"What's this about you and Trunks?!" my mother yelled
"He and I are dating" I said casually.
"You're WHAT!?"
"Dating. What? Am I not allowed to?"
"Goten, I support you. But are you sure about...... Trunks?" my mom said sighing.
"Yes mom, I am. I'm gonna go set my stuff in my room" I said looking for an excuse to get away.
And this is where we are now. I have to go soon because I hear my mom calling for me. I will write tomorrow as soon as I can. Bye for now.
