December Groom

December 9th

So since I last wrote, my mom took my phone for mouthing off to her. She tried to say that I couldn't have any contact with Trunks, but I told her I would talk to him if I wanted to.

I was on my way to school today when I realized something. My parents aren't divorced yet. Technically I could stay with my dad at Capsule Corp, and it's still legal.

"Goten!"

I didn't realize how long I had been thinking because I had arrived at school. Trunks was waving to me and he got really happy when I waved back. I had to tell him my idea. I also had to tell him why I didn't respond to him yesterday.

"Hey Trunks. I couldn't talk last night because my mom took my phone. But I think I found a way around all of this. Since my parents aren't divorced yet, I can stay with my dad"

"Chibi, you're brilliant!"

"Well duh. I'm not just pretty" I said smiling at him.

Our first few periods were consisted of boring notes and lectures. I thought class was never going to end, and Trunks looked like he would rather kill himself than stay listen to another word.

Lunch rolled around, and with it, came two very good friends of ours. You've met Marron already. I talked about her on the first of December. Well our other friend is Uub. He is Marron's boyfriend and a close family friend of mine.

"Hey lovebirds. How has it been goin'?" Uub asked sitting down with a tray of food

"My mother is insane. I don't want to live there anymore. My dad got the right idea" I said wish an elongated sigh.

"Oh Goten, everything is gonna be okay. I'm guessing she knows about you two?" Marron asked.

"Yeah. She doesn't seem to think Trunks is good enough for me. She's insane I tell you"

"Oh I can attest to that" Uub added.

We all laughed and continued talking about whatever came to mind. Marron and Uub went on and on about their plans for break. I hadn't even thought of making plans, since I usually was with my family all the time. But would I be with my mom and dad? Or just one? And what about Trunks?

"Goten, you okay?"

I snapped out of my daze and smiled at Trunks. He seemed to relax a little, so I didn't so bad about getting lost in thought.

"Yeah, just thinking about my own plans" I replied.

"Oh? And what might those be? Chichi is actually going to let you see other people over the holidays?" Uub asked.

"I'm going to regardless. I have to see my dad and Trunks too"

The bell rang and I was almost running out of the door. I had to get home to pack my stuff. I texted my dad about my idea and he said he liked the idea.

"Goten, I'm going out. Make sure the kitchen is clean when I get back"

"Do it yourself. I'm staying with dad" I said running up to my room.

"Like hell you are. You live here. And I'm your mother"

"I don't care who you are. He is my father and I want to live with him" I fired back.

She slapped me and I kicked her out of my room, packed my essentials and got to Capsule Corp as fast as I could. I couldn't wait to be free of her. She was a witch of a woman.

Anyways, I'm tired and Trunks has fallen asleep so I think I'll join him. Until tomorrow.
