We start walking up to the mall as reporters and paps swarm us like bees to hive.

"Who's the girl?"

"Is that your charity case?"

"Probably a publicity stunt"

It hurt a little but no big deal really. I looked at the boys faces who where all red with anger at some of the things they where yelling. Finally we bust through the automatic doors and into the mall. People buzzed around, a number of them taking pictures, some of them starstruck. I would have been embarrassed at everyone looking at me if Luke and the boys hadn't snapped me out of it.

"How can they say things like that when they don't even know you" spat Ash

"Yea don't listen to them Tay" Luke said "they are low life's who like to make money off of other peoples insecurities and hard ships. You are not our charity case. You are an important part of this family I promise you that" all the boys nodded their heads

I could tell Luke understood first hand the trouble that the paps could cause. Calum was silent with anger.

"They dont have the right to talk about you like that Tay Tay" Michael said and tackled me in a hug. I pulled them all in for a group hug to let them know I was okay.

"You sure you're okay Tay?" Asked Ash

I smiled and nodded my head in response. I had been called and treated and endured way worse then that. What they said was nothing. When Calum didn't say anything I went over and offered him my hand to let him know I was okay. He didn't let go the entire time we where shopping even though people where taking pictures and whispering. It felt natural. His phone was blowing up in his pocket with social media posts, and he was even called more then a few times. Yet he ignored every single one.

We went to Hot Topic, Victoria Secret, Journeys, and a few other clothing stores. When the boys suddenly started getting very excited basically pushing me into one more store. I quickly realized it was the Apple Store. Calum let go of my hand to finally check his phone.

"We where gunna do this and buy you a phone before we even left to pick you up but we wanted to wait to do it as a family." Explained Ash

I gave him a giant hug.

"We are here for you now Taylor you're not alone anymore." He whispered into my ear

After all that they have done for me today they are still doing more. I want to tell them how thankful I am but I don't know how without speaking. Should this be the day I break my vow of silence? Is it too soon? I had done a lot of new things today. Was I ready for this? Yes. This was it.

Ash was about to wave a clerk over here to help us when I grabbed his arm and made him stay in his spot. I quickly ran over and dragged Michael and Luke away from the silly photo shoot they where having on an iPad over to where Ash was standing. Finally I ran over to Calum who ended his phone call, and  tried to hide his frustration from me caused by whoever he was talking to on the phone. I brought Calum over to the boys as well knowing that he would hate to miss this and hoping that it would cheer him up. I hated seeing him upset it was like a puppy who lost his toy. Finally with my new family surrounding me I was ready to leave this long depressing old chapter of my life behind and start a new one with these four boys standing before me.

They all looked at me in question. Confused as hell but they certainly brightened up when they saw me open my mouth their eyes glistened with hope. They knew what was coming.

"Thank you" I said struggling to get the words out after so long of not talking it felt like shaking off cobwebs. But when I did I covered my mouth with my hand. My voice sounded foreign, new, odd, strange the boys almost crushed me in a hug so tight.
