Laying her head on the plane window she watched as the ground became so far away. She didn't want to leave anymore, she felt wrong for leaving him like that. A tear slip down her cheek she knew Phillip will never forgive her. He'll wake up and Prosper will be gone. Grabbing her head she felt a headache coming so she decide to sleep the rest of the way.
four hours later...
Prosper yawned as she exit of the plane walking to retrieve her duffle bag. All of her other things were shipped yesterday.
"Hello ma'am your Prosper right?" Prosper turned around looking the man up and down before nodding yes.
"Okay the car is this way." He turned around making his way to the car as Prosper followed him.
Prosper settle in and couldn't help but take in the pleasant smell of the car it smelled fresh off the lot with a hint of cologne. The old man had style, he was cut clean with a gold tooth; reminding Prosper of her grandfather.
"Are you excited to join this program with Ms.Cypruss?"
Prosper looked up giving a warm smile. "Yea, I'm definitely ready for this change in my life." Prosper said staring out the window with an unsure look.
Looking up in the mirror he watched her stare out the window giving her a warm smiled. " No disrespect Ms.Prosper that isn't what I asked you I said are you excited to join the program?"
Prosper was taken back. "Excuse me?" she said with a confused expression but daring.
He laughed at her response. "Now young lady don't get offense, I can see that something was bothering you but decide not to get into your personal life. The way you answered my question I assumed I was right. Is something is wrong, is it a reason your running away from your problems back home?"
Prosper was shocked on how he picked up on that so easily. " Look I don't know what gave you that idea but I'm fine and I'm not running away from anything. If Ms.Cypruss told you to dig into my personal life you can simply tell her that's not what I'm here for."
Prosper didn't want to talk about her life in Miami she left there to start fresh and that is exactly what she was going to do.
"I apologize Prosper, it's just you had that same look a lot of young girls have when I pick them up for this program and I'll tell you exactly what I tell them and my grandkids." He said as he focused on the traffic in front of him.
Prosper waited for him to respond. When he came to a stop like they both made eye contact in the mirror,
"Don't allow your feelings to have control of your future. Do what is necessary for a better future but don't let your emotions control your actions."
Prosper let those words replay in her head. She thought was that what she was doing? Allowing her feelings to control her future. It was too late now she's here, there is no going back right now, besides this program was going to make her future prosper. At least that's what Prosper thought. Before she knew it they were pulling up to the building.
Prosper got out star-struck she read the sign over and over again. "PoshbyV Fashion Merger." Prosper whispered to herself.
"This is not where you will be staying but all students for the program most meet here." The driver said as he open the door for her.
Prosper was star-struck as she looked around. The floor was so clean you could see your reflection through it. Everything was glass or white, not another color insight but the clothes on the people working or walking around.
"Hello, I'm Piper are you ready to meet everyone else?" Prosper turned as the girl Piper touched her arm to get her attention.
