I Will Prosper

Chapter 29

"Da da..da." Fabian yelled throughout the house.

Prosper was currently feeding him at her grandfather's house. Later on tonight their suppose to be having family night, Prosper and Ms.MaryAnn been over here since twelve in the afternoon. Ms.MaryAnn and aunt Jessie had the kitchen smelling good with all types of dishes.

Prosper grandfather Leroy wanted the parents to make sure the kids had a good sleep because the family night started at eight.

"No say mama." Prosper said scooping the green peas baby food from around his mouth.

Fabian laughed at her. "Mummm."

Prosper laughed. "I'll take it."

"Prosper how have you been, what have you been up to the pass week." Her aunt Jessie ask wiping her hands in the towel.

"Well since Fabian was with his dad I went and did a couple of photoshoots with bestie since she was in town."

Prosper said thrilled, she was thinking about the work they accomplished.

"Ouuu.. bestie is she still in town?"

"Yes she is I asked papa can I bring her tonight he said yeah." She said picking Fabian up.

"Well I can't wait to meet her, how do you think your friends are going to embrace her?"

Prosper kissed all over Fabian's face, as he was focused on his toy not paying her any mind."Honestly I don't care what they think Everyone always have something to say anyways."

Ms.MaryAnn and aunt Jessie stop what they were they doing looking at Prosper.

"Sweetie I told you not to let things stop your joy, it came with baggage we went over this." Ms.MaryAnn said walking up to hug her.

"I know it's just Sincere keeps throwing low blows any chance she gets... and then I kind of got myself in a little situation." Prosper said letting her go with a pout on her face.

Aunt Jessie grabbed her hand sitting her down and then her and Ms.MaryAnn took a seat.

"Well first of all did you ask her why she keeps throwing low blows?"

"Hell did you tell her off what was she saying anyways?" Ms.MaryAnn said with a scold on her face.

She didn't care what anyone she had met thought about Prosper, she'll forever have her back. When she first met Prosper she knew that she was scared, and need a support system that she never had.

Prosper laughed. "Yes I confronted her plenty of times her own cousins said something one time. I just don't get it, yeah she found out like everybody else. It's just I'm tired of people feeling like I have to apologize or kiss their tail when they felt like I did something to them. I don't even know what I did to her to make her continue to do it. She hasn't did it recently but I don't have time for it tonight. I know that you guys been inviting them to the events when I was gone I have no problem with it." She said shrugging.

"Well Pooh it's probably deeper than that, maybe you guys should talk before y'all become distance. Y'all with get through it, two beautiful women who have a lot in common and was there for each other."

"Yeah your right auntie I didn't do anything to her though, that's why I'm confused. I always ask her and she beat around the bush I'm just going to let it play out. If it was that big of deal her true colors will show."

Ms.MaryAnn patted her arm."There's the spirit now give me my chunky man."

"That boy is about to be one." Ms.maryAnn said tickling him.
