sans' p.o.v.

i felt stupid-why didn't i saw that before doing anything?- she only gave me a faint smile. that smile made all her cuts and bruises go even more visible, her expression showed a mix of fear, sadness and anger, i wonder what happened to her. i quickly extended my left hand putting the other one inside my jacket's pocket, she gladly accepted it-why? i feel like i offended her- "i...uh..." i shut, if i continue talking, i would probably screw even more.

she started to unzip her (f/c) jacket, and on the inside i saw her right arm covered up on thick bandages and a lump on it. i widened my eyes (eye sockets) -i don't feel very stupid now, but still- "D-Don't worry... i-it's just injured" she said while zipping back her jacket. "I-I-I'm (Y/N)... and uh... glad to m-meet you"

"heh... so... you're a human right?" she nodded "that's hilarious. anyway, i'm supposed to be on a look for humans" she flinched when i finished that sentence "uh... i don't really want to do that... but my brother on the other hand, he really wants to capture a human"

"Y-you w-wouldn't g-gave m-me a-a-away, ri-right?" her expression showed now more fear than the other emotions, she was backing a little. but she was inside my sentry station so she couldn't back much.

"nah, and i think that's him over there, stay here, on the back of the counter" (y/n) hid again, and i went to greet my brother "sup"

Your P.O.V.

"WHAT ARE DOING SANS?! YOU SHOULD BE LOOKING FOR HUMANS!" I heard someone yelling. I looked around the corner of the station to see a 7 foot tall skeleton yelling at Sans. "AND BESIDES YOU HAVENT RECALIBRATED YOUR PUZZLES! YOU WERE NAPPING ALL NIGHT!" he put his hands on the air, making more visible his anger.

"i think that's called sleeping" the short skeleton said calmly.

"EXCUSES! AND WHAT ABOUT THOSE PUZZLES? THEY'RE VERY EASY! THEY LOOK EFFORTLESS!" the tall skeleton said while stomping madly at the snow.

"don't you think i tried?" Sans said while shrugging his shoulders.

The tall skeleton stopped stomping, and sighed, and then looked at Sans "YOU'RE RIGHT... I WILL ATTEND TO MY PUZZLES! NYEH HEH HEH" and with that the skeleton was gone.

Sans turned to face his station "you can come out now" I started to stand up, weakly and clumsily. I neared Sans and stared at him. "i... can you do me a favor?" he said. I simply nodded, he put his hand on his neck and adverted his gaze, and then he continued "good. well, lately my brother has been feeling low, and he really wants to see a human, and maybe seeing you could make his day... could you please let him see you?"

"W-Wait, w-what?"

"don't worry, he's not dangerous... even if he tries to be" he chuckled and turned to the gate. He looked at me with the corner of his eyes "would you please do that?"

"Uh... 'kay" his smile grew bigger.

"thanks kiddo. see ya around" he waved and headed to the woods. -how am I supposed to do that? - I looked at the path, and thought for a minute. I turned to see if Sans could help me, but he was gone. I couldn't call Toriel and beg her to let me in the ruins again, and besides I have to avenge my (bro/sis)... -ugh, I would only let that skeleton see me and then I'm going back to the surface- I looked again at the path and took a step, I almost tripped. I composed myself and continued quietly through the path.

As I was walking, some voices sounded ahead... a deep, yet familiar voice and another one. I headed on, and saw both skeletons talking again. The tall one had his back at me and Sans was in front of him -didn't Sans entered the woods?- "HEY BROTHER, DO YOU REALLY THINK UNDYNE WOULD LIKE MY DRAWING?" the tall skeleton said while handing his drawing to his brother.

Sans looked at it and returned it to his brother "yeah pap. i bone doubt she would licke it" he said winking

"SANS!" I giggled at the bad joke he just made. -wow that was really bad- Sans tilted his head to see at the back of his brother, and saw me. "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT, BROTHER?" the tall skeleton turned around. His eye sockets widened and he gasped. "OH MY GOD! SANS! WHAT'S THAT?" he said while pointing towards my direction.

"that's a human, papyrus"

Papyrus started to jump exited. "I DID IT, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I CAN FINALLY JOIN THE ROYAL GUARD! UNDYNE WILL BE VERY PROUD OF ME" he composed and cleared his throat (?). He put one fist on his chest and posed heroically "HUMAN YOU SHALL PROCEED IF YOU DARE. YOU'LL SUFFER THROUGH SEVERAL PUZZLES MADE BY ME, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AND MY LAZY BROTHER! NYEH HEH HEH" he started running away through the path leaving Sans and me behind. He just kept staring at me, with his grin not fading, not even a little.

"Uh... what was that?" I said pointing to were Papyrus runned.

"heh, you just made him smile. thanks a skele-ton, I will see ya later"

"Snow problem" He chuckled and waved lazily, then he walked away, towards the same direction as his brother. -Okay then- I saw him leave, and that got me thinking... how does he talk without moving his mouth? Or teeth? Or whatever he has. And do skeletons even get cold? He wears a blue jacket, maybe they do, or he just uses it because he likes it? -just stop it (Y/N), you have to continue. You have to get out of here, and find those bastards, make them suffer and have a happily ever after. Got it? - I nodded to myself and headed to the direction Sans and Papyrus just went.

I was shivering from the cold, and the wind just started blowing even harder. -Ugh, I forgot the thick jacket at Toriel's house- I wrapped my right arm around me while cradling my broken one. It started to go numb, the same to my leg and lips. I looked around, hoping to find a shelter. There was nothing but pines everywhere. I continued through the path -where are those two skeletons?- I found an intersection, with a sign in between both paths. Left: Snowdin Town, half a mile. Right: the Capital, 2 miles. -No way not I'm going to the capital, I need shelter, and I'm going to Snowdin- I turned to the left and saw a red scarf lying on the ground, just like the one Papyrus was wearing. -They went this way, I think so- I put it on, it was very warm and soft. As I grabbed it, I saw something like dust lying around. I touched it and felt chills on my back, and someone watching me from behind. I turned around... no one was there. I just heard some bushes, the wind and a faint laugh. -Flowey... he is already looking for me, but what is this dust?... it's just dust (Y/N), nothing special...- those last words echoed in my mind, with a child's voice, not mine. -Okay? That was weird? Am I going insane or something? Okay... let's just ignore it and continue- I headed through the path, more snow started to fall and the temperature dropped several degrees. I need to get there quick.

As I was walking to Snowdin, I saw a guy with a selling cart. He had a big smile, and a t-shirt -what?! How come he isn't freezing?- "Hello! Do you want some nice cream?" he said cheerfully.

"N-nice c-cream?" I said shuttering.

"Yes! The frozen threat that warms your heart!, and now I have a big offer for you little buddy! I will give you one for half the prize! How about it?" he said giving me a coupon made with paper and crayons.

-uh... what? If I eat one I will probably get sick, but I don't want to hurt him...but don't I want him to get in my way neither- that child's voice again, it sounded very creepy and threatening, I ignored it again "I-I... thank you for the coupon. Sorry, but I already eat a lot in my house, and I'm full, maybe next time" I lied to him, I hope that didn't hurt him much.

"Oh, I see. Okay, see you later!" I he said while waving at me. I waved back and continue to Snowdin, that guy was half the way to Snowdin. And I hope I don't see more selling people.

There were puzzles everywhere just like in the ruins. The difference is that these ones, are already made. Like three of them where pressing some buttons, other one a color tile thingy and some more looking around for switches. -I wonder who had made them... meh, it's easier for me to get to Snowdin... let's hurry (Y/N), we don't have time to waste-
