*********Aaron's P.O.V.********
"Man this storm is crazy- wait do you see that?" Jennifer, my girlfriend says.
"What?"
"That car! It's flipped upside down and there's not even an ambulance or anything over there!" She says pointing ahead of us.
And she's right, I look up to see a white Nissan upside down against a pole. Whoever was driving it probably lost control of the wheel with all this water on the road and then wrecked.
"I'm gonna go see if there's anybody in there. You stay here and I'll be back." I say as I get out of the car.
I look through the windshield and see a girl, who looks unconscious, in the drivers seat with blood running down her forehead. Both doors are jammed shut so I can't get in the car to try and get her out. I run back to the car and grab my jacket. "Call an ambulance" I say to Jennifer as I run back towards the girl in the car. There's not much I can do until the ambulance gets here, and I'm hoping they hurry. I don't want the first wreck I see this close to be one where somebody dies because I couldn't help or do anything about it.
The next thing I know there's an ambulance pulled up next to me and doctors surrounding the car.
"Do you know who this is?" One of them asks me.
"No, we were just driving by and I saw the car and came to see if anyone was in it. There's a girl who looks unconscious, but I couldn't open the door to get her out."
"Okay, do you mind coming a long with us?"
"Yeah that's fine, just let me go tell my girlfriend. I'll be right back" I say as I start off to my car. I grab my phone, my charger, and my backpack with extra clothes in it so I can change when I get to the hospital.
"They want me to go with them to the hospital, are you okay driving home by yourself?" I ask her.
"Yeah, yeah I'll be fine. Go ahead." She says.
I run back to the ambulance and get in the car. They have the girl, who looks to be around my age, laying on a table in the middle.
"Her phone was crushed to pieces in the wreck, and her tag is not from California, so we have no way of knowing who she is. And until she wakes up, we know nothing about her. Are you sure you have no idea who she is?" One of the doctors asks me.
"No, I've never seen her before." I say. And at about that time we arrive at the hospital and the girl is rushed into the emergency room.
A few more doctors come and ask me questions about the wreck and the girl through out the time I'm in the waiting room. Then the same doctor who rode in the back of the ambulance with me walks out of a room and towards me.
"Can you come back here with me?" He asks.
I nod and he leads me through a series of doors and down long hallways until we finally come to a room marked 239. We stand at the door and I look in the window and see that they have the girl hooked up to multiple machines and she has wires running up and down her arms.
"She has a pretty bad concusion, and severe memory loss" He says. "She woke up and didn't know her name or anything. And since we have no records of her here, we can't even tell her who she is."
"So what are you gonna do? What if she's got family back home that's looking for her? What do you think her parents thinking?" I ask.
"The only thing we can do, until we can find any records of her or until she remembers who she is, we'll have to just start over." He says.
"Wait start over? Like make up a new name and a new life?" I say.
"Yes. That's all we can do. Would you be interested in helping her? She'll need a place to stay for a little while."
"I mean I'd love to help but I don't know how my mom would feel about that." I say.
"Well you're eighteen so technically you could be a legal guardian. Judging by the tests we did she's seventeen." He says looking at his clipboard. "You could just try it and if it doesn't work out, bring her back here and we'll figure something out."
"I guess I can do that." I say. I have no clue how my mom will react to this, but I'm hoping she doesn't blow up about it. The doctor, who's name I figured out is Paul, takes me back out to the front desk so I can fill out some papers before I can take the girl home.
I hope she remembers who she is soon, I can't imagine what her family will think if she never remembers them. If we can ever figure out who her family is.

So this chapter was a lot longer than the last one, and hopefully better! Lol!
Comment what you think about it so far and if I should keep writing it? Thanks!
