4. I See 'Him'

Drowsily, I opened my eyes, blinking in the harsh afternoon light. Turning my head toward my alarm clock, I noted that it was currently 4:00 in the afternoon. I rolled out of bed, not bothering to change since I would be going back to the pizzeria in a bit. I planned on leaving at around 9:00pm, since the pizzeria closed at 8:30, it was a kids' pizzeria after all. I had five hours to do whatever.

My stomach grumbled, reminding me that I needed food to survive. Shuffling to the kitchen, I pondered the events of the previous night. Where had Funtime Freddy gone? He wasn't on stage when I checked... It only said to check on Funtime Foxy as well. Why do I need to shock the animatronics? It's not like they're gonna kill me. Why did my boss seem so eager to leave the pizzeria before 12:00pm? He does seem suspicious...

I had finally reached the kitchen. Opening the fridge, I grabbed a plate of F/L (Favorite Lunch). I walked to my computer, logged on, and played some Minecraft.

Looking at the time in the bottom-right corner of my screen, I quickly logged off, noticing that it was 7:52.

Trudging upstairs, I took a shower, brushed my hair and teeth, and got dressed into my uniform. Getting in my car, I turned on the radio as I pulled out of the garage, on my way to Circus Baby's Pizza World.

Suddenly, a song came onto the radio, one that I really loved. It was called "Monster" by Skillet. Turning up the radio, I opened the window so that other people could 'enjoy' my taste in music. I sang along to the lyrics.

The secret side of me...

So stay away from me...

The beast is ugly,

I feel the rage and I just can't hold it.

It's scratching on the walls, in the closet, in the halls...

It comes awake and I can't control it.

Hiding under the bed, in my body, in my head...
