“Alright guys, you know the drill, tonight you will tell us about your date!” Brandon exclaimed over the bonfire. “Who wants to go first?” he asked.
Ariel’s hand shot up first like always before racing toward the center of the circle. “He brought me to dinner, and we just talked….and it was so amazingly simple and perfect, and just….it was the perfect thing for me!” she said sounding extremely happy.
“Pete, you go next,” Brandon ordered Pete stood up blushing.
“It was kind of my first date, and I think it went really well. I had a gorgeous date, and it wasn’t awkward, and she actually liked the simple dinner, I was so worried it was too simple, but she liked it!” he exclaimed happily smiling from ear to ear.
“Now their adorable kiss at dinner!” Brandon cooed jokingly as the projector lit up with a picture of them kissing with a Hershey kiss in Pete’s hand.
“That is so cute!” Shelby exclaimed shocking everyone…..it was quite a known fact that she didn’t much care for Pete or Ariel, but then she stood up to talk.
“Landon set up a picnic and he played his guitar and sang and we stared at the stars, and it was amazing!” she squealed before sitting back down allowing Landon to stand up.
“What can I say girls love musicians!” he teased as his and Shelby’s kiss showed up on the projector.
They all laughed at him, until Kara stood up much to Richard’s protest as she was apparently keeping his shoulder company and was the perfect headrest. “Richard….kind of went above and beyond, first he brought me to this nice restaurant and then he had my favorite song played and made me get up and dance to it with him, then he led me to this fair, and he won me a big stuffed bear, and rode a roller coaster with me and the ferris wheel….. and it was perfect okay? It was just…..words can’t describe how perfect it was!” Kara said dreamily before sitting back down blushing.
“I’m glad she had a good time, she’s a special girl, so she deserved a special night!” Richard ended happily, before smirking, “And she did agree to marry me, so…..” he joked causing him to get a playful whack from her as their ferris wheel kiss showed up.
They all chuckled and awed, rolling their eyes, Richard had definitely placed his claim on Kara, and if she wasn’t so foolishly oblivious they would be official by now. Jennifer stood up next, “He brought me to play laser tag then we had dinner…..and it wasn’t awful….laser tag was actually fun……” Jennifer said shyly before hurrying to sit down.
“It certainly wasn’t what she was expecting and after she agreed to play we did have fun during laser tag!” Josh said sounding pleased yet sour as he sat down and their kiss was shown.
All eyes then turned to Jacob and Sophie anxiously knowing that they HAD to have had a good date….when they noticed Sophie was sitting as far from Jacob as possible with her eyes a bit puffy and Jacob kept giving her puppy eyes….. “Uh-oh…” Kara whispered to Richard.
“Trouble in paradise, it seems,” he chuckled.
Kara just sighed sadly as Sophie stood up. “He brought me to a private art studio and drew this ridiculous drawing of me, I swear I looked like a cross between a giraffe, monkey, and alligator…..and then we had a paint war….” She stated bitterly before sitting down.
Everyone was giving each other curious glances knowing she was leaving something else out. “It was perfect, until I ruined it I’m sorry Soph again…..please…..” Jacob pleaded not even getting up.
