Perfectly Perfect

Okay this may just be a few parts... but I have a lot of songs that help me through life. What if they could help someone else? So I'm going to do my best to share them with you, dear readers, and maybe the stories I write to go with them can help. So here's Perfectly Perfect, by Simple Plan.

There are people out there for you. They are the ones who would give anything and everything to keep you safe, keep you happy. They are your family, blood or not. You can choose your family. Because sometimes blood isn't thicker than water. There's no harm if it is; that just means you have more people who would do their best to save you. They believe in you; they believe that you are perfectly perfect.

Always, always remember that you are loved. Maybe you don't feel that way right now, but I have the feeling that Destiny is on your side. Soulmate, best friend, sister or brother. Maybe you don't have that person right now, but I can guarantee that they are out there. I should know- I have my family. And one day, you will too. But you need to be here in order to find them, meet them properly. Maybe they're across an ocean or two from you. maybe they're right next to you. But you know what?

They are out there. And you are amazing, perfectly perfect to them.

Yes, it will take time. Yes, it will feel like ages. But you know what? The things you want most in life end up being the ones that are worth waiting for. Maybe you feel like that doesn't apply to you- but who knows, it might one day. Those people are out there. Wait for them. I can promise that even if they don't know it yet, they can't wait to meet you.

You brush it off every time I tell you your smile lights up the room.

And I'm guessing you don't even notice the whole world notices you.

Sometimes I wonder if you'll ever believe that I wrote this song for you.

I know for a fact that there are some people who won't believe these lyrics, the words I'm typing out. I know that they think that they are freaks, abominations. Listen to me: You are anything but that.

You are a human being. Born of stardust and emotion, electrical impulses and a soul. You are a walking, talking, mini-universe of your own. Protect that universe, cherish it; there is only one of you and there will never be another. You are a miracle, a perfectly perfect miracle. Remember that. It's an amazing thing.

Listen to the lyrics. People want you to see just how beautiful you are, because you truly are. You don't have to wear a crap ton of makeup or the latest fashion to be pretty.

You just need to be yourself.

You are unique, a person completely different and independent from 7 billion others! And that makes you special, someone amazing. You can bring your own genius to the world. Yes, some people won't recognize it. I'm not saying that it will be easy. But being yourself? Believe me, it is so worth it. Being yourself is so much better than trying to fake your way through being something else.

You don't have to try and change a single thing;

Hey, if someone is smiling because of you, you make them happy. And if they make you happy too, then that's a good thing. If someone wants to be your friend and they are nice to you and most others, are a good person, then I would say to keep them in your life because maybe they are supposed to be there. 

One day you will find a reason to smile, a person to be happy with and for. Hold onto the fact that this person is out there. Because they are.

Always remember that you are a beautiful human being. You have the opportunity to be alive. 

You're perfectly perfect to someone. Remember that.

And one more thing:

If someone is perfectly perfect to you, let them know. You never know if they need it. BE kind to others, and be kind to yourself. The world might suck a lot less if a lot more people tried to be nicer at least once. 

Also, I'm not perfect. I've been pretty rude at times myself. It's okay to make mistakes just so long as you learn from them. SO go and spread some kindness to the people you know need it. You've got this, because you are a perfectly perfect human being too.
