Chapter five

Monday came rolling around faster than I wanted it to. The weekends always seem to go by fast.

Nothing productive happened all weekend. Besides Coltons party, but I hardly call that something productive.

I reluctantly got out of bed and got dressed for school. Since it was Monday, aka Sawyer doesn't give a shit about what she looks like day, I threw on some sweats and a tight fitting black dry-fit. Across the dry-fit it said Blue Devils football. Blue Devils, our mascot. The wording was blue while the outline was white. The back of the dry-fit was my number, 5. That was white with blue as the outline. The sweatpants I was wearing were grey and on the left leg it said Westies, the lettering was vertical and it had the same coloring as the front of my shirt.

I put my hair in a tight french braid and then my minimal make-up. I like to keep it sweet and simple, so I just put some coverup on and mascara. Once I was finished I walked out of my room and into the kitchen. I grabbed the cocoa puffs from the pantry and made myself a bowl.

Once I was done I yelled up to River to hurry his ass up otherwise I would leave him. He came down a couple of minutes later all ready to go. He ran into the kitchen and grabbed an apple before we left.

The first four classes went by in a flash. Next thing I knew is that it was lunch. I met up with Aiden and Carson at my locker, then made our way to the cafeteria. We sat at our normal table, which was basically the middle of the cafeteria. You know in those cliche high school movies where all of the football jocks and the cheerleaders sit in the middle of the cafeteria? Well that's exactly what its like at our school. It doesn't bother me much though.

Have you ever had that feeling in your gut, that something isn't right? Something either weird is going to happen or something really bad is about to happen? Yea? Well that's how I feel right now. I don't know what it is but I don't like it.

Not even two seconds after Carson sat down from getting her lunch, she started gossiping. She was talking about this new kid, Hayden. I haven't had any classes with him yet and I hope I don't. From what I hear is that he is a total douche. I tuned out of Carsons gossiping and continued eating my pizza.

"He's in my chemistry class, and let me tell you, he is Hot with a capital H!" Carson squealed to her little cheerleading friends that sit with us. I just rolled my eyes at her. I mean how hot could he actually be? But the next thing Carson said made me more interested.

"He said he plays football" Carson stated to the whole table. She knew the team would want to know about him.

"What position?" I asked. Slightly intrigued

"I don't know. He didn't say" Carson looked disappointed. All well, If he tries out for the team we will find out.

Beeeeeeeeep.

Yes! Finally, math class is over! That is literally my least favorite class. I mean when am I going to have to graph a polynomial when I am older? Why can't they teach us something that is useful? Not to mention the teacher is so boring. I am surprised I haven't fallen asleep in that class yet.

I guess it is really hard to try and sleep when all you can think about is the new kid who is supposedly a "Football star". I haven't had any classes with this kid, and honestly I am kind of happy about that.

I am walking in the halls to my next class, P.E, my favorite. There are many reasons why P.E is my favorite.

One, my boys and I are all in the same class.
