Lydia's pov
Once we step outside, Kira runs across my driveway to the steps of stiles' house.   She rings the doorbell and wait until someone opens the door.  The door swings open and we're greeted by Scott.  "Hey guys."  He kisses Kira and we all walk in.  Stiles comes over as we're all standing at the door. "Hey Kira."  "Hey stiles."  Stiles and I just give each other a small smile and nod.  He then looks over at Aiden then yells, "who invited him?"  I was just about to say one of the first things to stiles in years until Kira interrupted, "I did stiles."  "Um. Mm.  Kira just ask me next time okay?!"  He says while putting his hands in his hair and walking in the kitchen.  "Oh my god. Thank you so much I love you."  I say holding her arm.  "Yeah I got your back, but now you gotta do something for me."  I tilt my head in a confused look.  "You have to go talk to him.  It's time Lyds."  She says staring into my eyes, it was like she was staring into my soul.  "You know what, you're right, I'll go talk to him."  I say while I look over at stiles while he is making out with Malia on the couch. "You know what, I'll talk to him later."  "Good choice, now let's get some drinks."  Kira says as she drags me over to the kitchen.  As Kira is pouring us drinks I lean over and say, "you call this a party?  This is no where near as good as mine used to be."  "C'mon Lyds, cut him some slack.  And besides, no ones party will be as good as Lydia martin's." she smirks as we clink our cups together and both take a sip.

Stiles pov
"To our last year!  Let it be a good one!"  I yell as everyone takes a shot.  Everyone is spread all over my house doing their own thing.  There's people playing beer pong, shots, dancing.  It's probably the craziest party I've had.   I go over to Scott and we play beer pong against Aiden and Isaac.  Of course we win.  We're the champs, no one will ever beat us.  After a few rounds of pong, a few of us go over to the couch and play truth or dare.  Malia, Scott, Kira, Lydia, Aiden, and Isaac are all sitting on the couch.  I start, I grab a beer bottle and spin.  The bottle lands on Aiden. Of course, of all people.  "Aiden truth or dare?"  "Dare."  "I dare you to go stand outside bare naked for 5 minutes."  I smirk.  "Are you kidding me man?  Your dad is a cop, I'm not doing that."  He says.  "First of all man, he's a sheriff.  And second of all, if you don't wanna do it, take a shot, and your out."  I say putting my arm around Malia.  "I'll do it for 3."  He insists.  "Okay whatever, go."  I demand.  He begins to take his shirt off and throws it at me.  He reaches for his belt and we all yell in unison, "GO OUTSIDE!"  Aiden goes to the door and we all peek through the window once he's outside.  Once the three minutes is up he comes back in.  Luckily with his pants on. I throw his shirt back at him then he spins the bottle. It lands on Kira.  "Kira truth or dare?"  "Truth."  "Okay, if you were to have a threesome with anyone in the room, who would you have it with?"  Her jaw drops.   "Oh my god that is so embarrassing, I'm not answering that."  "C'mon we already know one person, who's the other?"  He pleads.  "I'm not answering that."  "Fine then take a shot."  "Easy."  She says while she takes it.  Then Kira spins, it lands on Malia. "Malia, truth or dare?"  "Dare."  "Okay I dare you to take your bra off for the rest of the game."  "Honeyyy, is that all you got?"  She asks as she takes off her bra and throws it at Kira. Then Malia spins. It lands on Lydia, this can't end well.  "Lydia, truth or dare?"  She smirks.  "Truth."  "Oh of course you would pick truth.  Uh-"  She tried to finish her sentence before Lydia interrupts her.  "What is that supposed to mean?"  She asks tenaciously.  "Oh nothing.  Just that only prudes pick truth."  "Are you calling me a prude?"  Lydia asks.  "For someone who claims they're smart, you're really not that smart."  Malia fires back.  "Nice Aiden. A prude and dumb.  She's sure a keeper!"  "Yo Malia calm down."  Scott says.  "Malia would it make you happy if this dumb prude picked dare?  Because it really seems that you care about what I pick."  Lydia says.  "Actually it would make my night."  Malia says smiling.   "Fine then, dare."  Lydia agrees. "I dare you take two shots of vodka, and two shots of this gin."  "Is that seriously all you got?"  Lydia asks as she takes all four shots with no problem.  It was Lydia's turn to spin. She spins the bottle and it lands on me.  This is going to be one of the first words we've exchanged in years. Like I mean we've said "hi" and everything, but we haven't really had a conversation in years. "Stiles, um -" Lydia says looking at me, trying to ask me the question, but Malia interrupts. "Of course you picked stiles!" "Picked? Excuse me, I spun the bottle, which I probability, so how could I have possibly picked him?" Lydia says. "I don't know. Maybe because you're a dumb bitch that sleeps with every guy in the school, and who always gets her way." Malia shouts. "Malia, stop. You're drunk. Calm down." I tell her. "Wow Malia you're so mature." Lydia says as she stands up and passes through the crowd of people that are now surrounding the couch. "Lydia!" Kira says chasing after her. "Was that really necessary?" I ask Malia. "She deserves it." She replies. "What has she ever done to you?" I ask. Before she could say anything, I yell, "the game is over!" And everyone walks away and scatters across the house. Kira comes back and sits on the couch and Scott asks, "is she okay?" "Yeah, she'll be fine." I get up and Malia follows. "Where are you're going?" "I need some air." I reply. "Okay I'll come with you." She says following me towards the kitchen. "No. I need to get some air alone." I say turning towards her. I grab a beer and go to the backyard. I put my beer on the table, rub my face, and put my hands through my hair. "Rough night?" I flinch as I hear a recognizable voice. "Jesus Christ Lydia, you scared me!" I turn around. "Sorry." She says quietly. "No, it's okay. I didn't know anyone else was out here. I'll go inside and leave you alone." I say heading towards the door. "No, stay. Come sit." She says awkwardly. I walk towards her and sit beside her on the outside lounger. We sit in silence awkwardly until we both say "uh- ". "Sorry you go first." I apologize. "I was just going to thank you for letting me come tonight." She says. "Thank me? Didn't you have a shit time?" "Well yeah, but I've been to worse parties." She laughs. "Worse than this? Fuck man, that must've sucked." "It's not that hard to have a suckier party than this one." We both laugh. "Freshman year. My first time drinking. My night consisted of puking and making snow angles in the front yard." "Oh yeah I remember that.   It was Jackson's party, you were wearing that striped dress.  You puked all over it so I gave you my sweater.  Then my dad picked us up and we both had to sit in the back of my dads car and we both got grounded." I say. "You actually remember that night." She asks. "Yeah well I wasn't drunk. But c'mon this party wasn't that bad." I say. "My night consisted of a round of beer pong, 5 shots, and a terrible game of truth or dare which ended with me wanting to rip your girlfriends head off." She says. "Sorry too much?" "No don't worry about it, she can be like that sometimes." I say. "Sometimes?" She asks while tilting her head to the side. "Okay, most of the time. But anyways sorry about that." I apologize. "It's okay, I can take it.  But you're not the one who should be apologizing."  She says as she winks at me.  Then and there, I start to reminisce of all the good times we've had together.  The good ole days when we'd come out here and talk, which would feel like forever.  I don't realize that I'm staring until she asks, "why are you staring at me?"   "Oh nothing, it's just that I realized that I really miss this.  Talking to you like nothing has changed."  I say, while not losing eye contact.  "Well stiles, things change, people change."  She says as there's a small moment of silence.  "But I've been thinking too.  I think we should talk.  Catch up, maybe consider being friends again.  Scott was right, it's not the same, with him going back and forth between groups.  We should just be one big group like old times."  "Well why not now?"  I suggest.  "What do mean?"  She asks confused.   "Lets catch up now.  Lay here and talk for hours just like old times."  I say enthusiastically.  "I'm sure your girlfriend isn't going to like that, and besides, you have a party in there."  She says.  "Don't worry about Malia and I'm sure Scott has it all handled. C'mon for old times sake?"  I plead.  "You just know how to convince a girl, hey stilinski."  She says as we both smile.  We catch up, and talk for hours.  We clearly lost track of time because as we're talking, the party begins to shrink.   We continue to talk until we both fall asleep on the lounger.  Just like old times.
