" They laugh at me because I'm ... different.
I laugh at them because I'm high and I don't give a fuck . "

DAKOTA STEVENS, SHE TOOK MY  VIRGINITY, and I'd never forget her for that.

Well not my actual virginity.

I was in a sense pure before I began to hang out with Dakota.

Now I'm tainted, corrupted, damaged, soaked in failure. Over flooded with flaws and disappointments.

Before I met Ian or any of the Gallagher bunch, Dakota she changed me.

Growing up I wasn't really one of the popular ones. I was the ash blonde haired girl who was pretty frail and fragile, I would get teased because my eyebrows were thicker than the milkshake from  the Mr.Softy ice cream truck.

That was me. This what I was known for.

Not for being really awesome in track or volleyball. Or that I was the only one in my grade and probably the entire school who could name each state and president in alphabetical order.

I didn't have much friends -- any friends actually.
That was until that red headed girl introduced me into the life I've come addicted too.

This was way before I moved to the south side. Dakota had lived a few houses down.

She was only a year older than me, but she made sure she made me feel like a mere toddler.

It was a little far from my thirteenth birthday and I hadn't even gone through puberty yet. I hadn't over come my shyness , over thought literally everything so self conscious and was a tad bit socially awkward.

The other girls they were already off their training bras, their boobs were almost professional.

Dakota was the most popular girl in our middle school. I had got invited to her house for a birthday party and let's just say she changed me.

I was then known as that blonde pot headed, alcoholic who often popped a few pills...with the thick eyebrows.

"Scar! Earth to Scarlett." Blinking repeatedly I tried to regain focus to see who's hand was waving back in forth in front of my face.

My eyes squinted slightly until Ian was painted into the picture.

"Cookie, sorry I kinda dazed off." I smirked as he smiled brightly at me. Water droplets planted amongst his body as a navy blue towel secured itself around his lower half.
