Another dobby

Olivia's POV

A few weeks have passed and my parents didn't beat me up. Yet. My wounds are now healed, thanks to Alan and Daniel taking care of me.

Right now I'm at my room at Daniels house. Alan and Daniel came in, Daniel is holding the laundry basket. "What?" I groan.

He playfully threw a sock at me and I caught it with ease. Suddenly I have a funny idea. I stood up and ran away from them screaming "Master has presented Dobby clothes!! Dobby is free!!!"

I stopped running away from the end of the hall. I looked looked back at Daniel and Alan and saw them laughing. Well Daniel is hysterically laughing while Alan just. . . Laughs.

I grinned and threw the socks and it hit Daniel square on the face. Alan couldn't help it but burst into hysterical laughter with me.

Daniel stopped laughing and playfully glared with me with a smile. I wiped an imaginary tear away and sigh. "Dobby is now a free elf!" I said in a squeaky voice.

"Yes, yes. My mistake for throwing the socks." Daniel said with a slight laugh. "Who wants lunch? There's Chinese food at the kitchen." He suggested. My face lit up like a Christmas tree and I rushed downstairs shouting "Food!!"

I reached the kitchen and quickly grabbed a spoon and took a box of Chinese food and opened it inhaling the heavenly scent. I dug in like a normal person not like a animal!

I heard laughing so I looked up and saw Daniel and Alan looking amused. "What? It's better than Daniels cooking!" I teased. "I might agree that his cooking was not the best." Alan said. He walked in and took a box of Chinese food and started eating with me while Daniel stood at the doorway with a pout.

I giggled and Daniel gave up and took a box of Chinese food and started eating too.

I looked at the clock and saw that it was now 12:00 and I need to get to work! "I need to go! I'm gonna be late for work!" I exclaimed and quickly finished my food and put on my old running shoes. I was planning on buying a new shoes.

I felt a hand stop me, I looked over my shoulder and saw Alan holding my shoulder stopping me from moving. I raised a brow at his actions.

"May I help you?" I asked. He smiled at me and said "Well, let me give you a ride since Daniel want me to buy some soy sauce at super store." I nodded my head and we wave goodbye to Daniel who have a pink apron on.

Alan pulled out of the drive way and dive towards superstore. The ride was silent, it's not an awkward one but a comfortable silence. Alan parked and we got off of his car.

"So, Olivia, what time does your shift ends?" Alan asked. I looked up at him because of me being 5'11 and him 6 foot so it's only 2 inch difference.

"I'm early today. About 2 I'm done my shift. And why might you ask?" I said raising a brow. He looked down at me and hazel brown eyes met my sunglasses. "I'm planning on driving you. I guess for a stroll maybe?" He questioned with a smile.

I grinned and said "Sure!" We entered the store. He got a basket and we waved goodbye to each other. I headed to the back room and clocked myself in and put on a blue vest. I walked out and went to counter 16 and readied everything I need for the day.

A beautiful lady with blond hair, black eyes and a 3 years old kid came they put the things at the conveyer belt and I started checking them out.

They paid for the stuff and strolled out. I sigh and looked at the clock. It was 1:22 and I'm already bored. Time passed, people paying, going blah blah blah!

Soon it was 1:58 I started cleaning up but I saw that I have one more costumer. I checked the things out and looked up. "Debit or credit, sir?" I asked. I finally paid attention and saw it was Alan!

He smiled at me and said "Debit." I took his card and swiped it, he put his password and I gave him the bag that he bought. "What are you still doing here?" I questioned. I taught he's only gonna buy a soy sauce.

"Well I wanted to wait for you." I saw that his brown button up shirt changed into a light blue. "I'm actually done now and you can wait for me anywhere you want." I said and removed my blue vest. We walked towards the backroom and he stopped outside the door. "I'll wait for you here." He said, I smiled and said "I'll be back in a sec."

I quickly rushed in, threw the vest away and rushed outside and saw that Alan was just about to lean to the wall.

He looked at me astonished. "Wow, that was fast." He said. "I told you it was only for a second." I giggled.

We started walking towards the exit. "Why don't you ever take off your sunglasses?" Alan question. I just looked ahead and said "Because I don't like the colour of my eyes. Everyone said that I'm a monster, except Daniel."

"Can I see your eyes?" Alan asked, his voice pleading. I sigh and nodded my head. "At the park. I'll show you at the park." I muttered. I opened the door and buckled up, Alan did the same. We drove off and I started zoning out.
