Chapter 3

I began walking down the road, follwing the trail of my car in hopes of magically running into it. I had already called the police, and they're searching. A single drop of rain landed on my nose, soon turning into a huge downpour. I slipped my phone into my pocket and took off my jacket to use it as an umbrella. My jacket was warm and had holes, but that didn't mean it wouldn't get soaked eventually.

I need to find another place to stay.

I ended up finding a small shopping area. There was a grocery store and a few resturaunts next to it. They were all closed. I spotted what looked like a clothing store with gas pumps out front and went inside to purchase some dry clothes.

What is this? A gas station with clothes? And why is it still open?

When I pushed open the doors, a sudden gust of hot air surprised me. The building was so warm I could almost fall asleep. I felt cozy.

"Hello, how can I help you?" A kind lady asked me.

"Hi, I just need a pair of clothes, but I can find them on my own." I responded.

"Okay sweetheart."

I shuttered and headed toward the clothes section and skimmed through it. There weren't many options, but it would work.

Ah, there we go.

I placed a pair of jeans in front of my legs and looked down at them. I eventually paid for two pairs of fresh clothes, a new backpack, and an umbrella. After putting my clothes into my backpack I took a look outside before heading out the door. I noticed a motel nearby. I opened my umbrella and jogged toward it.

After I had arrived into the motel I checked out a room.

I can afford four nights, but I only want to stay for one night and decide what I'm going to do.

My phone rang and I glanced at the contact icon.

Seven...

I hung up the phone and put it back in my pocket. I changed into a dry pair of clothes and lied on the soft bed.

Maybe I should just go home...

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket again and opened the chatroom.

(Y/n) has entered the chatroom

Jumin- Hello (Y/n). Long time no see.

Jaehee- (Y/n), how have you been?

(Y/n)- Hey! I've been good ^^ How about you?

Jaehee- I would be fine, but I have a shedding cat with me.

Jumin- I hope my beautiful Elizabeth the 3rd is well.

Jaehee- Her hair is quite irritating, but yes, Mr. Han, other than that she is fine.

(Y/n)- I need a companion. A small, adorable companion.

Jumin- You mean an elegant cat? My Elizabeth the 3rd is just lovely. You can't have her, but you could find a companion almost as brilliant as she.

Jaehee- I don't much care for cats.

707 has entered the chatroom

Jumin- Well, my father has planned a meeting early in the morning, so I'll be off now. Have a nice night, (Y/n).

Jumin Han has left the chatroom

(Y/n)- Oh, Seven whatcha doin'? ^^;

707- You ignored my calls..
