After the exhilirating day of traveling around New York, we arrived back at Seven's house around 11 p.m. He headed to his room and changed back into his normal rugged jeans and a tank top, took off the wig, and placed his glasses on his face where they should be after removing the contacts.

"I'll be honest, that whole brunette thing you had going on was really... wow.. Certainly took my breath away. Your girlfriend is sooo lucky~" I teased him, reminding him of earlier and nudged his shoulder.

"You don't like my normal appearance?" He asked, returning the joke, pouting his lower lip out.

I didn't catch his joke at first, so I began to feel guilty and stuttered, "I-I was kidding, I really like the way you look! I-It's cute.."

Seven stopped for a moment and pondered on what had just slipped out of my mouth subconsiously. He grinned and simply left the room after caressing my cheek.

What was that? Cute? Really, (Y/n)...? Ridiculous..

I closed the bathroom door, stripped the clothes off of my body and turned the shower on, allowing the water to warm up to my prefered temperature so it didn't hurt my burns. As soon as it hit the perfect temperature, I took it as my cue to hop in. I'd been able to use warmer water recently since the burns weren't too terribly sensitive. As the water ran down my face and each part of my body, I pondered in thought.

This.. feeling. He caught my eye before, yeah.. but not like this. Seeing him in person is always so different. And living with him, at that-- maybe I like him?

After I finished my shower, I wrapped myself up in a towel and sat on the edge of the tub, lathering soap on my slender legs to shave them. Seven had some razors under the bathroom sink cabinet, but he didn't really need all of them, so he gave me permission to use a few.

I took the blue razor and dipped it in the cup of water next to me. Then I gently ran it up from the top of my ankle, all the way to my knee and restarted the process, shifting it along my leg. A small, fuzzy black thing landed on my leg, catching me off guard at first. I noticed it was crawling upward and realized it was a spider.

I let out a short but loud yelp. The razor I was using slipped roughly over my leg and I smashed the spider with it. I jumped out of the bath and wrapped my towel around me.

The bathroom door jerked open to reveal a worried Seven, "What happened?! Are you ok?!"

I tightened the grip on my towel and my face flushed red, "It was just a spider.. I'm okay"

"(Y/n) sit down, your leg is bleeding," he gently said and reached in his medicine cabinet for some bandaids and a special ointment.

"Here, let me see." He gestured me to turn my body toward him so he could clean up my leg.

"No I'm alright! It's just a little cut." I attempted to wipe the blood off, but I instead made the pain worse and left watered-down blood on my palm.

A burning sensation spread throughout the cut. It was comparable to touching a fresh blister after it'd popped. It burned.

"Come here. Let me help you."

He had a wet washcloth and turned my leg to him, lightly dabbing it on my cut. I winced at the pain, but he eventually was able to put ointment and a wrap on it.

"There. It was pretty deep, but not too severe. Be careful next time."

Seven finished and put everything away. I stared at him, unsure of the slightly-pouted look on my face. As he turned to leave, I stopped him and wrapped my arms around him from behind.
