I sigh in relief as the hospital open doors greet the three of us.

The sight of the stark white hospital and various people milling about brings in me a sense of calmness but at the same time those damn nerves that make me feel sick to the stomach.

Finally though, I'd be able to see my family.

"I hope they're fine." I murmur more to myself but Alexander seems to hear me as he squeezes my hand in return, showing he felt the same way I did.

Damien had gone to park the car while Alexander and I make our way to the entrance.

Going past the desk where the friendly nurse is seated and in search for the room, everything is a blur as rush past corridor after hallway after numerous rooms in search for the correct room number.

Finally the correct numbers on the side of the door reveals itself to us and not even waiting an extra minute longer both Alexander and I stride through and into the hospital room.

"Oh finally." I hear my mum voice out as everyone turns to us.

Alexander lets go of my hand and we each in turn hug and greet everyone.

From the looks on their faces, them smiling from ear to ear makes me relax as I at least know that the situation isn't too serious.

Going past all of them, I see Alexander leaning on the side of the hospital bed, reaching him, I look down over his shoulder and a shock of purple hair greets me, smiling.

"I was beginning to think you forgot about me." Stella croaks out, voice rough from lack of usage.

I smile at her and shake my head.

She pushes Alexander out of the way, making him stumble back a little but manages to grab the bed railing for support.

Stella doesn't seem to care and pulls me into a hug.

"I missed you two dorks." She says grinning.

"Likewise." I say back and look to next to her where Abby was lying in bed, sleeping peacefully.

"She's been sleeping for quite a while." Stella says catching my gaze, sorrow in her voice.

"I'm sure she'll be fine. Probably just tired." I say back, hopefully being encouraging.

"Well I'm trying to at least." Snaps a voice from the next bed.

Glancing up in shock, a grumpy, sleep filled Abby greets my field of vision.

"She's been like that ever since she woke up." David whispers from behind me.

Abby turns her scowl onto David, glaring him into the deepest pits of hell while he simply laughs.

I laugh as well and rush over to Abby, pulling her into a hug, being careful of her bandage wrapped head.

The both of them had various cuts and bruises, Stella with her arm in a cast and apparently with three broken ribs among other things.

"It was so scary but epic at the same time." Stella says, finishing off her side of the story on the car accident.

Ben snorts from behind me, "remind me to never get in a car with her again."

Apparently Stella, Abby and Ben had all gone to get some food or something of the sorts when a car with a drunk driver hit them head on.

I'm just glad that they're all alive and breathing.

"What about Stella being in the ICU?" Questions Alexander while I roll my eyes at his bluntness though I was wondering about that too.

"Oh that was just when we were brought in. They didn't have enough rooms so they put me in there." Stella replied back.

After a while, we all decide to head home for the night.

I was exceptionally overjoyed because I was still in a sleep deprived state not to mention incredibly jet lagged.

Looking around the room, I see Alexander is nowhere to be seen.

Stepping away from my family, I quietly edge along the wall and over to the door and quickly open it to step out.

Luckily nobody sees me and even if they do, they don't ask.

Looking up and down the corridor, I see no sign of Alexander.

Huffing, I decide to head back into the room but my stomach grumbles in protest.

"Dang, I haven't eaten in ages." I mutter to myself and so set on a mission to find the nearest vending machine, purse in hand.

----------
Brining the sand which to my mouth, I take a bite only to find air.

Frowning I look down to find the empty piece of plastic that had once contained the surprisingly good sand which.

I'm still so hungry.

Shrugging I throw the empty wrapper into my handbag and head back to the room.

A few corridors down, I spot a head of brown hair and stop to see Alexander talking to a man I vaguely recognize.

Racking my brain, my thoughts lead me back to our wedding where the guys face pops into my mind.

I think he was the head of security or something related to that back at Alexander & Co.

What the hell did Alexander want with him?

Stepping fully into the corridor, I catch Alexander's eye.

I smile up at him and he does so to only he seems to hesitate.

Alexander looks back at me once more before he motions to the security guy and they both head off into another corridor branching off to the left, out of my field of sight.

What the hell was that about?

-------------
I wait ten minutes longer in the empty corridors, leaning against the wall outside Abby and Stella's room.

Everyone's already left and I've said my goodbyes I feel weird if I head back in there.

Finally I see Alexander headed towards me with a stern look on his face.

"Lets go." He says.

"You okay?" I ask, not moving an inch.

He's been so worked up ever since everything's happened but Stella and Abby are both fine, well if you exclude the broker ribs and what not.

"Just perfect." He says as kisses me on the lips and grabs my hand, pulling me towards the exit not even looking back at me.

I glance down to our intertwined hands taking note of they way he's so rigid and tense, barely uttering a word.

I'll definitely be confronting him once we get home and if that doesn't work, I have other things in mind that will definitely get him to open up.
