Nora James' P. O. V

The loud gun shot ringing through the room makes me jump in my seat.

My heart palpitating in my chest feeling as if it's about to explode and land straight onto the table in front of me.

My eyes squeezed shut tightly stops me from probably seeing pools of blood and even though I want to peel my eyes open, I restrain myself.

Seconds later I feel warm arms wrapping around me and pulling me into a chest.

This causes my eyes to snap open as I take in a white clothed chest.

"Shit!" I hear a voice speak up but I can barely hear through it from the ringing in my ears.

All I can make out it is that the loud blaring music has stopped and a few screams here and there emerge as some people flee from the room.

My eyes start to water and I barely realise I'm holding in a breathe until a warm hand caresses my cheek.

What the hell just happened?

"You're okay love." An all too familiar voice murmurs in my ears causing me to relax my taut muscles.

At least I know Alexander is fine.

"Shit, f*ck. I'm sorry."

My muscles stiffen up once more as I take in the voice of the person speaking.

A look of disbelief crosses across my face and the annoyed expression on Alexander's face confirms my suspicion.

"You bitch!"

"I'm so sorry, I didn't realise I was pressing the trigger."

Peering over Alexander's shoulder, my lips press together both from trying to not burst into laughter as well as to stop my self from blowing up at the idiot.

Greg has a panicked look on his face as his arms flail about, the whole in the wall right next to a seething Bens' head makes him continuously apologise.

I sigh and shake my head in disbelief just as Alexander pulls me into him further, shoving my head into his chest.

I have to stop myself from getting annoyed because I know he's just worried.

Looking up at him I can see the worry shining clear as day in his gentle brown eyes.

I sigh and squeeze his midriff before stepping back completely.

It's hardly the right time to act all lovey dovey in such a situation.

A loud grunt resounds from my right causing Alexander to once again push me behind him as much as possible in the small confined space.

I let out an 'omph' as my face smacks into Alexander's back while wiggling my nose around to get the weird tingling feeling to vanish.

Letting out a small sneeze a chorus of 'bless you' reach me while I nod in thanks.

Clearing my throat, I side step Alex but still stay a little behind him as I glance at the scene before me.

Just as I wind my head round his shoulder, I feel an all too familiar sensation.

I gulp and glance to my right, seeing a tall burly guy–dressed in all black like the rest of all Arturo's goons– holding a shiny gun to my head.

"Ah, thank you very much Daniel for joining us. We were awaiting your assistance."

We were?

The green eyed, tanned skin man next to me let out a husky sarcastic laugh and pulls me into him.
