"Don't you baby me!" I growl out in irritation, ignoring the pleas of a scared sounding Greg from behind me.

Alexander looks at me gobsmacked as he looks at Damien and Sam–who are sat across from him in the dimly lit booth–and then at me.

"H-how did you get here?" Alexander splutters out as he moves to stand up from his seat.

My glare harshens as I look at him pointedly, making him sit back down in his seat again.

A snicker greets me from my right side which makes me dart my eyes to the culprit.

"What are you laughing at?" I scowl at Sam whom immediately stops laughing, "Greg was right about your little 'date' wasn't he?"

Sam sobers up at my rhetorical question and lowers his head to avoid my gaze.

That's what I thought.

"You!" I hiss out, once more directing my attention onto Alexander.

I can't even form proper words as the anger consumes me, making me quite literally see red.

"Baby trust me I-," Alexander tries to justify himself, talking to me in a hushed calm tone but falters when he sees who's approaching the table from behind me.

"Mother fu-, Greg what the hell? See this is why we don't tell you shit!" Alexander huffs angrily.

"Oh no you don't," I snap–waggling my finger in Alexander's face–, "Greg out of all of you had the decency to tell me where my husband is. Do you know how worried I was? 'I'll be back in an hour' my ass. Three whole hours, you hear me?" I spit out.

Alexander's look softens as he reaches out to me, "baby I know in sorry, I just lost track of time. I was worried about Damien. I wanted to go check up on him." He reasons.

I revert my gaze onto a blank faced Damien.

How dare he look so calm as if nothing is wrong?

Damien glances up at me and raises an eyebrow in a contemptuous manner.

I open my mouth to start a spit fire on him but Damien beats me to it.

"I apologise Nora, for the inconvenience. I didn't realise what this would lead up to."

My mouth opens and closes and I finally nod.

That is the best of an apology I'll probably ever get from him, though it isn't his fault in any circumstance.

Turning back to Alexander– he raises his hand up in a surrendering motion– as he tries to speak once more.

"I swear love, I didn't do anything, not even look. I'm only here to sort things out."

"It's true." Sam puts in.

I narrow my eyes at Sam, mentally telling him to shut up.

He didn't have a right to speak in any of this.

"You still have a lot of explaining to do." I now murmur as the anger slowly starts to dissipate, tiredness now taking its place.

"Of course baby." Alex mumbles as he stands up and pulls me into him, though I can see his glare aimed at Greg who scoffs.

"Well now that that's over and done with," Greg says as he takes a seat, "How much does it cost for a lap dance or maybe not." He says shrugging once he sees the look everyone gives him.
