Chapter Two

Elena's P.O.V

Waking up after 3 hours of sleep in my queen sized bed feels good. My house some see it as a palace but I see it as the only place I can be myself in it. I lived here all my 21 years if not with my body it was with my heart. Choosing an outfit to go t work has ways been easy a pencil skirt, see through blouse with a blazer on it and a matching high heel. Now all of it screamed respect except the see through blouse but that item itself held a lot of power in days like these and I like to call it 'The Deal Sealer', nothing more easy than making another old pervert CEO to sign any paper I want when I'm wearing that blouse.

Taking a quick shower because i already shower before going to bed and put my outfit on with light makeup and heavy perfume, I brushed my hair and put it in a low pun with earrings and a matching diamond ring on my left hand. I left my room with blank expression that i wore for two years now and walked to the dining room to find my breakfast is waiting for me. I drank my full cup of coffee and ate some pits from my omlet. My driver was wait for me outside so after i finished and make sure that everything is in the right place I left to my ride to my company.

I took my phone out and turn it back on again to see if I have any important notifications, there is a lot f crap but two things catch my attention a text from my best friend Stephany and another from PA Malin. Stephany's text made me roll my eyes with a smile on my face "Hope you got your fix last night". She always find it funny that i needed to have sex everyday but little did she know that sex is the only thing that can calm her and slow her down in her crazy hateful life, "I did but the asshole couldn't keep his mouth shut for round two but I had it anyway thanks to my hands 😏" I replay with a sum up.

I went to read the other one from Malin which made kind of angry because U don't like surprises, "Having an argent meeting with The Gilbert's company today, sorry for short notice but it's very important".I can't be angry on her because we were trying to contact them for a while, but what made angry that they choose today, an already busy day with a lot of meetings. I swollow my anger only because I want this specific land that they have to build the 'Shopping World' I'm dying to do.

I reach my company and walk out to the entrance which I found Malin is waiting for me there. "What's going on, Malin?" I asked, she looked almost scared to answer that made me more confused, "They are already here, miss" those five words had an extreme affect on me that Malin had to take a step back because I'm sure I looked as scary and mad as I felt in the inside. "What?!" I said it in a very calm quite voice that mad Malin Looked like she is about to piss her pants, "I am sorry miss but they walked on me out of no where while I know that we have another meeting first so I'm kinda of clueless of what you want me to do at the moment." She talked during our walk to the elevator.

I took several deep breathes before saying anything to try to make my next move carefully, "It's ok, put me on the phone with Robert and I will rearrange our meeting to be a lunch date that will help us even more". Malin looked impressed, she was only a year younger than me but I had so much experience. "Baby don't look so surprise like that I thought you already know me" I said with a smirk on my face, "Right, don't ever show emotions" she remind herself with the basics to be in the business. I smiled a very small smile which was rare, but Malin had this pure soul and young spirit that makes it difficult not to love her.

We stepped out of the elevator to the 20th floor which was the last floor and where my office located. I went to my office that almost all of it made of glass and opened my small closet to pick up a different shirt, a more decent one. "Put my black coffee in the meeting room and wait for me there, I will follow you soon" I said while changing my shirt, Malin left as soon as I finished talking with a small nod.

After changing and put more perfume, I made my way to the meetings room with was located a floor below. I reached the room with confident steps and opened the door, nothing would have prepare me for what's was inside. Tall, handsome, with a sharp jaw and dark hair. He took my breath away for a second before I recollect myself and wipe any emotions from my face and made my way to the old man that I suspected to see alone at first.

"Very nice to finally have the pleasure of meeting you ,miss Maxwell" said Rick Gilbert, "same here Mr Gilbert" I said politely, but i couldn't help it I had to say something about their early arrival, "I can see that you were a little more excited to meet me" I said with an innocent smile that was far from innocent in real life. The bastard laughed in my face and didn't offer any explanation, he turned around to at the young man that came with him and said "this is Joshua Grand my heir". Both of us looked at each other for a whole 5 seconds before shaking each other's hand, "nice to meet you Miss Maxwell" his voice was so deep coming out from this pink soft lips that made me try so hard to keep a straight face, maybe I kept a straight face but my hormones had a mind of her own because I stared feeling myself getting wet just from that small sentence.

I cleared my throat "same here Mr Grand" I said with a quiet, controlled voice. He face broke to the smallest smiles I'd ever seen, but it vanished right away that made questioning if it ever been there.

'Mmm this gonna be an interesting meeting' I said to myself.
