You woke up, in the middle of the night. The room was still dark, and that was a relief for you.
Someone was watching you. You felt eyes watching you, you heard sniffling coming from the corner next to you. Afraid for what you might see, you closed your eyes when you grabbed your wand. You had put it on your nightstand and you were glad you did. You could almost feel the thing coming to you. A breeze went through the room and you knew it wasn't your breath.

'Come on Anne, you've been through a lott. But you aren't going to die because you're to afraid to open your eyes and face the thing.' you thought.

You counted to three, when you hit the three, you opened your eyes. A laugh came out your mouth. It was just an owl, who flew against the window. The window had opened himself, that explained the breeze. The owl was watching you. With his big yellow eyes and his beautiful brown feathers. You walked towards him, still smiling and you took the envelope he held in his beak. You took it and padded the owl. He clacked with his beak and flew away.

A grimas appeared on your face. Owl's dont clack, unless they are afraid. He clacked, but it probably was nothing. You still held the envelop in your hand, close and well. You turned the envelop for a adress or a name. But you couldn't find anything. Strange. You opened the letter, and read the words which where written on the paper.

"Death will come, I will come"

You looked down from the paper. There was someone probably who tried to make you feel uncomfortable. You've had many of these kind of letters, and you always ignored them.
Unless it was from your mother. But you couldn't sense anything weird from the paper when you've put your finger on it and tried to locate the origin.

When you looked at the street, you saw a men walking. Strange at this time of the night. But you didn't bother and closed the window. Closed the curtains and turned around. You let out a scream and blacked out.

The next day you woke up your sheats were removed and you were tied to your bed. A burning pain went through your ribcase, when you looked down to see, what happend you were worried. You were lying in a pool of blood, you're blood to be precise.

One word was cut into your ribcase. "disappointment"

A sigh left your mouth. How could you've thought you were save here?
