You were turning in your bed for at least a few hours. Grave's had left after the tea and you felt enormously tense since he left. There were three reasons why:
1.You were not allowed to tell anyone of your secret.
2.He is a man! What if he caught any feelings?
3.You are a woman single for at least three years now. If it isn't any longer. What if you caught any feelings?
You sighed, that wasn't the biggest problem. He asked you to help him. But you didn't want him to help you. Knowing it would end up bad. Bad was an understatement really. The last time she asked anyone to help her, he ended up committing suicide. You felt nerves bundling in your stomach. You wanted to go somewhere but where on else could you go? Nowhere, because you were still stuck in the damn house Graves arranged for you. But some fresh air wouldn't hurt. These walls hid a secret you felt it, but you didn't know what is was. The walls were closing in and leaving you in a dark room, filled with dark secrets.
Maybe that's why she felt at home. There was darkness. She had always lived in darkness since she was a child. A lot of people got scared when they heard anything that they could not explain. You, on the contrary, you got excited ready to find out the truth. Ready to walk on roads no one ever walked on before. Searching for the unknown.
But that was because reality sucked.
You grew up in a flipping Foster house, with a bitch of a headmistress. Everyone around her was scared of witchcraft. You were too until you found out you had magic. That changed the whole story. They banished everyone out who had some weird things. Like too much beauty spots, or a birthmark. Or simply strange behavior. As a little child, you had been quiet, but when you realized you had magic and they were going to throw you on the street if they found out, you got scared. So you decided you couldn't trust anyone. No one, not even an ant passing by. You kept the secret with yourself for years. Until the age of 13. You walked on the other side of the river along with your rabbit, you liked rabbits. They were your only comfort in these dark times. The clouds were turning dark and you were heading back to the house. Knowing the headmistress would get angry if anyone got late for dinner. Your little brown rabbit was following you, but suddenly he started to pitch on the ground. He sensed danger, I know rabbits pitch the ground when they are scared or sense danger. He was staring at you with his dark brown eyes, his little nose bouncing up and down. You picked him up and murmured a song for him. Just when you thought he was getting calm he jumped out of your arms and ran away.
Looking around with your hair tingling your face, you saw a woman approaching you. You did not know her, and it seemed illogical to talk to her. After all, strangers were dangerous. She had black hair, she wore a blue dress with some white buttons. There even was some lace around her waist and arms. It was a really nice dress, you thought at the moment. She looked nice Until she started to talk to you. It wasn't English you were sure of that. Because you were unable to understand what she was saying to you. You started to run, afraid of the woman approaching you. Steps and the sound of bouches being crushed came closer.
You felt a hand in your neck, and you saw her eyes. They were yellow and her pupils were big. They were almost her whole eye. You started to pray, pray to god. In the strong believe someone came to help you. But nobody came, her grip got stronger. She was trying to strangle you. Without even doing anything, she released you. you were gasping for air, wondering why the woman let you go. You heard a weird sound coming out of her mouth, looking up to face her you screamed. She was coughing blood and she looked like she was going to die. Her pupils were black, and you knew it was time to run. A spot of blood was forming on the ground and you wanted to run. Somebody was calling your name, it was your teacher, she probably was searching for you. A feeling of relieve washed through you, running towards your teacher.
Until you reached her and you felt a smack in the face. "YOU WITCH, YOU BLOODY WITCH. YOU WILL BE IN PAIN, GOD WILL NO LONGER PROTECT YOU!"
In shock, you followed her back to the house. They chained you, threw you into a room and locked you up. Still hoping for someone to let you out. Hoping for someone who was going to stand up for her. Hoping for some mercy and time to explain what happened. But you hope faded, after a few days without any food, you were totally lost. The rabbit was still in your mind, wondering what he was doing. If he had a happy life. You hoped so, at least the rabbit was free. With his beautiful brown eyes.
You got back to reality. Back to the house, leaving the past. Pushing your memories away. Laying in your bed, waiting for the morning sun to rise again.

I was listening to the song Through The Woods from the movie Watership Down when I wrote this. I still can't believe the movie was rated as a family film
