The Afterlife Prologue

They sent the last Operations group the United States had. The group never worked directly with the government, mainly because a political leader was related with a tragic accident involving the leader of the group, Alias: Rukio. However, the OP group did help the nation when it was in need. They captured the top mass murderers in the nation and were the first ones on scene if there were any threats involving Mass Destruction. The group had only four people. They all had aliases, except one.

Rukio was the leader. Two years ago, he was involved in a near death situation, shortly after he came home from a war. The accident left him with robot limbs, including his entire left hand, muscles in his leg, and various brain enhancements. Rukio was the stealth person in the group. He rarely ever used anything larger than a Small Machine Gun, except for his custom .40cal sniper rifle. There are rumors he is in a romantic relationship with another member, Shy, but it is not confirmed. However, it is certain he will guard her with his life.

Gordromic was Rukio's best friend.Gordromic, Gord to Rukio, was around weapons all his life, and has grown favorable to Large Machine Guns and Explosives. Gordromic has rarely ever shown his face, for he wears a prototype armor. It weighs about as much as snow gear, but multiple fiber layers are able to stop even AP bullets. However, Rukio has always found a way to put the death on Gord when they spar.

Shy has no alias. However, when the government tried to run DNA tests, nothing showed up. She does not exist. Shy is almost always seen with a blade, sword or knife. Her signature weapons are two handguns called "Balance" and "Power". They resemble WWII German semi-auto pistols. Power holds 5 .50 caliber rounds, and Balance holds maybe thirty to fourty hallow points. She uses guns very rarely, yet is somehow able to bring a knife to a gunfight and have the riflemen running scarred. Shy is rarely cornered, but when she is, Rukio always runs up to assist her from anywhere.

Alex is one of the smartest women that anyone will meet. She has custom made every gun, blade, armor set, and equipment that the team uses from nearly scrap metal. Alex is almost always with Gordromic, keeping communication with the team. She uses a drum load shotgun, holding up to 30 shells. She custom made it to be able to hold multiple types of shells, and she can choose which the wants on the go, anytime she wants. 

They have only appeared on TV once, while they were there, there was very high tension between Rukio and Gordromic. It got so bad that Rukio drew a knife as Gordrmic grabbed Rukio's throat. After a few seconds, Rukio broke free and they stopped as Shy and Alex stepped in. No one is really sure what the argument was about. After that, they never appeard on television agian. Not because no one wanted them to, but because they never showed their face in public. It seems they were only satisfied by a newspaper headline for two or three days, then it's over until they are needed sometime else.

They are needed now. There is evidence that a large scale missile is headed for Washington DC, with a payload equivalent to Hiroshima, if not worse. The OP group is contacted by a drop location. When they are needed, someone simply puts a note, describing the situation, under the rock left of the fourth fencepost at the downtown courthouse in Lafayette, Louisianna. Only three people know about this location. The Head of Arms, The Courier, and the group itself. It's time to summon the group. They better hurry. I pull the trigger to this bomb in 47 hours, 39 mins, and 12 seconds.
